We thought “grass fed grass finish” would be cool to be healthier. I don’t think the grass fed was the problem cause I’ve had fantastic grass fed steaks. We bought half a cow and half a pig. The ground beef was ok but everything else was bad. The Rib Eyes, Filets, brisket were all a bust. I bought a massive freezer to stock up on meats and we were so excited. We ended up using most of the meat and made jerky. I offered my friends a bunch of the meat for free and they said no thanks after cooking the Ribs and Brisket. Besides the ground beef we didn’t enjoy a single cut. We kept trying hoping we just had a couple bad pieces. BUY SMALL AMOUNTS BEFORE GETTING HUNDREDS OF POUNDS AND MAKE SURE YOU LIKE IT. Maybe we just got a bad cow. I don’t know how this works. It was my first bulk purchase. The meat looked and felt great. Like the Rib Eyes. Felt really tender. After cooking we couldn’t eat it. We didn’t even bite into the Ribs after looking at them after we smoked them. Again, maybe we got a bad cow. Just sample first...
Read moreThe Meat Shop isn’t just where you buy meat—it’s where you rediscover how good meat can be. From the moment you walk in, you know this place is serious about what they do. You’re not getting mass-produced, grocery store stuff here—you’re getting craftsmanship, tradition, and pride wrapped up in every cut.
The quality is next-level. Whether it’s thick-cut bacon, house-made sausages, perfectly marbled steaks, or fresh-ground burger blends, you can taste the difference from the very first bite. It’s clean, rich, and honestly kind of addictive.
The team here is just as impressive as the product—friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help you find exactly what you need (or suggest something even better). You can tell they actually care about what ends up on your grill, your smoker, or your dinner table.
If you believe food should be an experience, not just a chore, The Meat Shop is an absolute must. Once you shop here, it’s hard to go back to anything else.

Read moreNot sure what the appeal is with this place. After reading the great reviews I decided to give the Meat Shop a try for a decent brisket when I was looking to smoke one. Called a week ahead of time and was told they would only have 2, both on the small side. Whatever, figured I'd make due. Tried to confirm on the phone that the brisket would still have a good 1/4 fat cap, and whoever answered the phone was completely confused and had to ask someone. Came back and said that's how they package all their briskets. After driving all the way to the place and paying a small fortune for a tiny 7lb brisket, I get home to find a completely trimmed brisket. No fat cap, and a pretty poor piece of meat all around. I can get a better cut of meat from Sam's Club for litterally less than half the price, which isn't exactly stiff competition. First and last time I'll drive out to this place, be sure to take these reviews with a...
