Went to this venue for a candlelight concert and my review is for venue only.
We (myself and my teenage daughter) arrived about 45 minutes before the concert. We parked offsite because I couldn't find detailed options for parking. Felt reasonably safe with a 5 minute walk from our paid parking spot.
Arriving at the building, saw what a nightmare valet parking would have been and confirmed this when seeing the ridiculous line of people waiting for their cars after the show.
No clear entrance was posted and we finally poked our head in a partially open door clearly marked as an exit. Several people around us followed our lead as they were clearly bewildered too.
The security was good as two lines (one for people with bags and the other without) formed and we were "wanded down" to check for weapons. Again, not an inconvenience and more a positive note about how they enforce security.
After that, we wandered inside, but had no clear direction where to go. We saw the line for drinks, but did not partake and we then left wondering, where do we wait.
That question was not answered until about 5 minutes before admission and by that time there were over a hundred people forming in groups as to where they assumed they should be.
We got lucky and followed a group that entered a lined off section close to the entrance to the room in which the concert took place. Others, who were ever closer to the door, were ushered back when someone finally addressed the crowd on how to line up. Those people went to the back of a line for an event that was first come, as far as seating in your section.
Once inside, there was another bar selling drinks. As both my daughter and I were thirsty from standing in line with over a hundred other people, I opted for a few drinks after we got to our seats.
For two Sprites (and a modest tip of 15%) it was over $15. Maybe I'm old and the cost of going out has drastically changed, but I can still recognize when being I'm being taken advantage of (and it still colors things negatively no matter how good the rest of the evening).
I recognize the venue for being a business, but I just start to hate when I'm clearly being taken advantage of and then, not at least being given good, professional services. I kinda hate...
Read moreBetween the stunning and original venue space and Riette's incredible organization and professionalism, there was simply no question that we would pick Warehouse 215 for our wedding.
The space itself is amazing - exposed brick, modern walls, unique touches like lit chandeliers, and large, beautiful spaces perfect for dancing. We loved that even though the space was large, it could be made cozy and warm with candles and lighting, perfect for our intimate wedding.
In addition to falling in love with the space - different from any other in Phoenix - we knew that we were in the right place the moment we heard about Riette. During the year and a half of our engagement, every vendor we sampled, every DJ we met with, every coordinator we researched knew Riette Bartlett instantly by name and raved about her dedication, demeanor, and amazing team.
Throughout the entire process, Riette reached out monthly, repeatedly reassuring us by demonstrating how incredibly on-the-ball she was on every aspect of the wedding. Riette responded to our communications immediately, stayed on top of every detail, and worked perfectly with every vendor we selected. Day-of, Riette was kind, flexible, and so reassuringly in charge. She made our day incredible, and we are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to be married in such a unique space, overseen by such an...
Read moreThis place is trash. The owner or manager, whomever he really is, is rude and mean. I saw him get in a girl’s face and yell at her aggressively like she was a man. The drinking fountain water is boiling hot. Literally burns your mouth. The air conditioner doesn’t work. We were soaked in sweat and ready to pass out. They said there were water stations with cups, but there was not. It was hard to breathe in there because it was so hot and stuffy. There is no parking lot and you have to have a permit to park on the streets by the houses next to the building so you have to park far and walk far to get in there. There wasn’t any toilet paper in the bathroom. The drink options are limited. You get 2 beers to choose from. I can’t remember what beers they were, but they were both trash beer no one likes to drink. The butch bartender at the bar outside was smoking cigarettes behind the bar while we were trying to order drinks the whole time and she was just rude and full of disgusting comments. Raves are not fun here. I would give zero stars if I could. This place ruins rave life. My group of friends and I will not be attending raves here ever again. Raves are about good vibes and this place is...
