Union Hills — Attraction in Phoenix

TERRIBLE BARBER! Just recently moved in this area with my dad so we thought we’d give this place a shot since it appeared nice. Went inside and immediately felt like this was an unfriendly environment. As others have mentioned in these reviews the older man (the owner) is extremely rude. I tried to ask him questions but didn’t even bother to look at me much less respond at all. Another woman was cutting hair beside him and also completely ignored me when I arrived. I didn’t even bother staying another second at this place once I got the gist of the situation, I immediately left.

Wish I’d seen the negative reviews prior but this place (undeservingly) has 4.5 stars. If you’re going to be rude to your customers AND have poor service then this isn’t the job for you, just retire man. Definitely not worth the trouble, avoid this place at all costs! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The owner is so rude. He talked down to me about the haircut I wanted mocked the last person that cut my hair saying they had no clue what they were doing and the man yelled at me 2 separate time when I was explaining him what I wanted. I debated leaving this review but this was the worst experience I have ever had in my life with a business and to top it off he gave me the worse fade I have ever had I would have been better off going to great clips. He should retire he is an angry old man his poor wife was so sweet to until he came in the biulding then her attitude completely changed and she didn't say another word. We’ve been coming here for quite a few years because To Phuong is a fantastic barber, and it’s sad that she is starting to lose some of her clients because John, the owner, always has NewsMax on the tv. This horribly biased, lying, conspiracy theory news station is one of the major factors dividing this nation and we’ve heard patrons say they aren’t coming back because of it. John has raised his prices twice and I can only surmise that part of it is because he is losing business because of his tv station choice. I hope he finds a neutral tv station soon, like maybe game shows…or we may have to find...
