Impossible to get bored. Performances everywhere - from fire eaters to sword fighting to acrobatics on horseback. There were elephant rides, a tiny petting zoo with a cute goat, archery ($5 for 5 arrows), axe throwing, and endless things to explore. The Queenās Joust was the absolute highlight. Very well directed and performed. One knight looked unbeatable at first - but donāt count anyone out too soon. Made it very easy to forget the 21st century outside world and cheer like your knightās honor is on the line. Thereās also a huge tent to catch a break from the sun with a cold beerābut bring cash. Most vendors took cards, but beer seemed to be cash-only (thereās an ATM in the tent if you need it). Also bring your ID. They do wristbands for age verification and that makes follow-up drinks faster. There was also live music! Loved Celtic Mayhem! Ample parking, and the bathrooms (both indoor and porta potties) were clean. Fantastic experience for a first time edition. Hope they come...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was really well put together. There were tons of shows, vendors, food, drink, and activities. I thought it was going to be tiny when I looked at the size of the park on the map, but honestly it wasnāt. Instead, you just donāt have to walk miles to get to all the stores. Most of the vendors were set up right next to each other, but any time there was a stage area there was plenty of room around it. I spent way more than I anticipated, which was my mark that they had good, quality vendors. Some of the highlights were the multiple witchy shops, great leatherworkers, metalworks, woodworkers, a wine tasting booth with goats, an elephant, jousting, magic, fire eating, etc. I hope they do it...
