It has definitely improved with the re-sodding, but I will say the mats could stand to be replaced. I bet they're probably going to do that once they open the grass. The grass area that is open now is kind of hard mud and I don't like hitting off of that.
The mats do the job just fine.
I've heard people claiming the range yardage is inaccurate, but it is accurate as they post it. I've calculated based on exact Lat/Long using Omni Calc and it proves that the red really is 125 yards out from the mats (current posting), and the blue really is 260 yards out. The range itself barely scrapes 300 yards to the back apex, and so the balls are likely not just range balls, but also limited flight balls. Typical for a range, no problem there.
Anyways, you can tell how they drop out of the sky, but by and large this is a good range that I trade with the one down the street.
Just avoid the weekends. It turns into "Kids Camp" on the weekend and while some days are fine, others feature beer drinking parents nearly taking a driver to the face because I didn't see them walking from behind me (That close!) That, and the groups of people huddling around each stall where their buddy/gal is trading hits can be a really big distraction if proximity bothers you.
Still, most days I can avoid crowds, the range is suitable in distance, the balls travel mostly predictably, and the practice yields growth in my game. What else...
Read moreIf I could give this less stars I would. This experience was absolutely terrible. The guy who was giving out the range buckets today (4-18-2025, time was 7pm ), was absolutely unprofessional and rude. This was my first time coming to this golf range with my friend who had never been to a golf range. I had high hopes because usually people are very welcoming and respectful as YOU SHOULD BE! But this guy was awful, we didn’t understand much about how they operated at this golf range and when we tried asking him he spoke to us in a very condescending way, as if we were stupid for not knowing how they operated, and then proceeded to laugh in our faces, and he didn't even give us a guide or anything after we asked him REPEATEDLY. When we went to fill up our basket he literally yelled at my friend telling him “I told you to put the basket under the dispenser!!” and was extremely rude. This is by far some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, he made us feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. I don't care who you are, you don't treat a paying customer that way especially if your the staff! Anyway, I don't recommend this place at all, we came to this range with high hopes and left extremely...
Read moreFriendly staff. Restaurant/beer on site. Good place to take the family. I would say this more friendly range for individuals and families. There is a couple of good golfers and the rest is amateurs learning the game.
Tip: there is clubs free to rent. Just ask man at the counter. My wife is left handed . Probably about 50 clubs to choose from
I recommend to buy the driving range card to save money
For mgmt: can we please have better markings for yardage or update the landmarks...
