This is the best place to stay in Pismo for an RV Park, I have been coming here for 25 years and my Grandparents, parents and rest of my family have been coming since they first opened. My Grandparents have had a permanent residence for over 40 years, it is an incredibly well-maintained property. Always clean and grounds are always maintained, they have an onsite maintenance crew that is there daily. The owners are the same people that have been there for over 40+ years and passed down generations. I've never seen bathrooms/showers so well maintained at any camping or RV sites besides here! The pool and spa are cleaned every night and I've never experienced it being closed for any reason. They have a clubhouse that you can hold events as well as a fire pit and picnic area that you can use while you stay at the park. The clubhouse usually has movies and games and has a small kitchen and a fridge for party usage. Amazing to watch the 4th of July from there. Everyone in this park is kind and welcoming and always open to everyone who stays, I've never met an unkind person. I've built friendships over the years from coming here. The best part about this Rv Park is its right across from the beach, you walk across the street and the bridge over the water and you're directly there. It's walking distance from everything in Pismo beach and even Grover beach! This Rv Park is solely focused on providing excellent care to their customers and they always put them first and foremost and will accommodate and help to the best of their ability. Do keep in mind that the Rv spots are made for Rv's of 32'L and under (unless you get two spaces) and for a parking space or lounging area. The sites are not small or compact they are made to fit all you would need. If you are looking for more space rent the back slots near the freeway or by the bathrooms or clubhouse for more lounge area. It Does specify on the website lengths and fit of campers and RV's. They also hold numerous events for the quests over the year like BBQ's Or breakfast event, and usually holds 4th of July and new years BBQ yearly. I promise you won't regret staying here with your partner or your whole family! This is a family-based community and so kind and welcoming, we can't wait to come to stay again this year.
They welcome dogs of all sizes and have separate dog runs to keep dogs apart...
Read moreHere is the deal with Holiday RV Park. Don't expect any space! This place is nicknamed the Sardine an for a good reason. You are right on top of each other; however, the laundry is well-kept, and the pool and bathrooms are being redone to modern standards. If you don't expect to stay in your RV, then who cares...its location is right on the beach and within walking distance to the Monarch butterflies and downtown. If you and your loved one like to rock the boat, as they say....bring a gag, or you can expect the neighbors to probably come knocking....you're that close....seriously... not romantic. Otherwise, it's just average but way below average in space. Oh, by the way, this place is more of a permanent resident place rather than a real RV park. So you won't have room for BBQ..They provide a table, but honestly, they should eliminate them because they are not usable and just take up space. ...what I mean is if you can imagine a picnic table when seats will touch yours and your neighbor's Rv and you can't walk around it. Not suited for more than one vehicle too. I've stayed here a lot only because all the other parks fill up and this one gets a lot of cancelations due to the...
Read moreMy family has been vacationing here for four generations.
It is a scrupulously maintained facility with pool, hot tub, clubhouse, laundromat, and a barbeque patio with tables (next to the laundromat).
There is a nice shower/ restroom facility in the middle of the park. Each spot has a heavy duty patio table and hookups for water, sewer, hdmi, telephone, and electrical. WiFi is acceptable and I hear rumors that it is being upgraded.
This is a pet friendly facility with a divided dog run in the back corner. You are allowed two pets.
The spots are not huge but we can fit a Scion XA along with a full size Nissan Frontier pickup with our 34 ft 5th wheel if we scoot the patio table back a bit.
They have various sized spots to accomodate RVs up to 40 ft. They also have a few pull through spots.
The staff is always very courteous and friendly. (They didn't even laugh at me when I complained that my TV wasn't working. I blamed their HDMI hookup when in fact I had failed to attach the cable to the RV).
Holiday RV is a close walk to downtown Pismo and the beach.
I can't imagine staying anywhere else on the...
