Great place to jog or walk! This picture was taken in Downtown Pittsburgh. This is the Alleghany River which rises in Pennsylvania, flows north into New York, comes back to Pennsylvania and becomes the Ohio River in about a mile to the west from here. The Ohio River is the border of 3 States -Ohio/Kentucky, Kentucky/Indiana and Kentucky/Illinois. Then it merges with the Mississippi River in the south of Illinois and the east of Missouri.

This is the perfect place for photos at the river. It's accessible from downtown via walking and biking. You would have to park downtown and walk or bike here. We took our engagement photos here, and we took many photos here while biking. On a sunny and clear day, you can take lovely photos of the river, downtown buildings, the bridges, and of North Side across the river.

Narrow strip by the river nice for walking and there are wonderful fireworks 💥 in the evenings (around 10:00pm)

Allegheny Riverfront Park in downtown Pittsburgh offers a peaceful escape right along the river. It features scenic walking paths, public art, and green spaces perfect for a stroll or quiet break. While small and narrow, it provides beautiful river views and easy access to downtown attractions. It’s great for a short walk, jog, or relaxing near the water, though not ideal for large gatherings or...

Not actually a "park". It was a trail along the riverfront with a few trees. It was a good place for a run with good views of the river, but I definitely wouldn't call it a park. I am from Texas, so I'm not sure if it's common for the area, but the concrete was in really bad shape. So much so that it was hard to run in places without feeling like I might trip and fall in the river...
