Food Court at Central Legacy Plaza ("Jusgo Food Court")
7/1/25: Lunch I took my two little foodies to the Food Court at the end of the strip of Jusgo Supermarket. I have always referred to this place as the "Jusgo Food Court" and the local foodie friends would know exactly which food court I meant. 😂
There are several restaurants in the food court. My kids and I only review the items we have tried... Roti canai from One One Malaysian restaurant: flaky crispy roti canai bit lacks that buttery flavor I once tasted from a Malaysian restaurant in Richardson that made it so addicting.
Chow Kway Teow from One One Malaysian restaurant - Mr. Paul from. Crepe For U recommend me to try this. It's delicious. The wide flat rice noodle was cooked just right. I like how they added the bean sprouts in with it making the noodles soggy because the bean sprouts release alot of water. Not many restaurants use bean sprouts in their stir fry flat noodle dishes. This place cooks it well.
Salmon Hand Roll from Sushi Spot: my daughter has been craving for a salmon roll since we came to Texas. I ordered this for my daughter. She said, "Mom, I do not appreciate how they sneak a piece of wasabi into my salmon roll and it made my head feel like it's going to explode!" (No, she was not happy at all and will never come back to eat here.)
Galbi from Tofu House: Whenever I take my kids out for Korean food, I have to ALWAYS order the Galbi. This Galbi entree here is priced at $19.99. It's a reasonable price for the amount of meat cut. The meat was well marinated. Meat texture is on a little chewy side but the meat cuts were meaty. My kids love eating galbi with steamed rice. For me, I rather put out $30+ to order a premium grade Galbi with thicker cuts from my favorite Korean restaurants.
Tofu soup from Tofu House: I was craving Korean tofu soup but I felt disappointed. The broth here reminds me of those instant Korean ramen noodles seasoning with water. The bowl has no vegetables but just a lot of silken tofu. That's about it. I got bored eating this soup after a few bites. Not my preference here. Sides served with the soup include potatoes in a sweet sauce, cabbage kim chi, and plain jap chae. The sweet potato noodles used to make the jap chae was slightly mushy on the overcooked side. Not my...
Read moreIn the past, this place was good and has always been my first choice. Not sure what happened. I have had two food poisoning in the last half a year. Today I went to see my doctor for my food poison since I ate there last night. I nearly thought I would die due to the extreme pain of my stomach. Managers if you see my message please leave your phone number here. The dirty restaurant in your center caused me being very sick for days and I will have to do a endoscopy procedure with my doctor due to the...
