I love the food here and keep coming back (one time, they completely messed up my to go order, but honestly the flavor makes up for that experience, I'm a repeat customer for certain). I came to this location on Legacy today, and there was a man sitting eating his lunch on the patio adjacent to the front door of the restaurant. The dog (quite large) actually lunged at me, growling loudly, and tried to bite me! The man in the sunglasses sitting at the outside table (image attached) had to hold the dog back, and I understand in hindsight why he didn't apologize--he was too busy trying to desperately control his violent animal. Now, I love dogs, I believe dogs should have every opportunity to socialize, I've got two of my own. BUT, for this restaurant to allow this clearly AGGRESSIVE and VIOLENT dog to hang out in front of their restaurant, a few feet from the door, is a huge liability. Needless to say, I was completely stunned and shocked by this experience. I would take away 4 stars for the sheer safety concern of dining here, however the food is really good (and actually calmed my nerves after this incident), and I'm giving back 2 stars for a net total of 3 stars. But most of all I hope this review brings attention to the clear safety issue that the owners of the restaurant are neglecting to address. I truly hope this was just a one time occurrence. But to all future customers, please be careful in case this is a repeat customer. I hope in the off chance that he sees this review, he will rethink his dangerous behavior, and leave the dangerously unsocialized pup at home (I'm not even going to go into the discussion of potentially why his dog is so violent--most commonly, they lash out from fear, and that fear is many times instilled through abuse by the dog owner, but that's another issue altogether). Overall I'm glad I'm still all in one piece after this visit to Pho Que Huong, and the food was...
Read moreLet me start by saying I only picked up food and never sat in the location. I did however, ask for Siracha and I only received a small portion for two whole meals and an order of spring rolls.
The food:
Chicken rolls - These were filled with lettuce noodles and chicken. The lettuce was so overpowering and didn't make it taste good at all. Im my previous "spring roll" experiences there are additional veggies, i.e. carrots, cucumbers, cabbage in some instances and bean sprouts. Here, there was none of that. The peanut sauce that went as a sauce was watery and had no flavor.
Chicken Fried Rice - Lacked flavor and salt. There were big chunks of broccoli that had no flavor. Definitely wouldn't have it again.
Chicken Noodle Soup - The chicken breast was juicy and the broth had good flavor. It wasn't enough to make me want to come back but if you must go here at least you know this dish is...
Read moreThe food was really good but the customer service is garbage. They don’t greet you when you walk in. You sit your self. The older lady who works in the front isn’t friendly at all. She won’t greet you at the table. She’ll take your food order grab the menu and won’t come back to your table again. The person who brings your food didn’t speak English. I asked for something he said ok and I never saw him again. I had to get up and go to the front counter to get anything else I needed. When you pay, again they don’t say anything. They hand you your receipt. Not a single thank you, have a good day, may I get you anything else, how’s the food, nothing. Iv been twice now and the first time I just thought maybe she was having a bad day. Nope the customer service was the exact same way both times. Non existent , not friendly at all,...
