Enson Market is located in the old Lucky's Market location in Plantation Commons. They offer goods and services related to specific Asian countries and are affiliated with the Enson Group Catering Wholesale Integrated Group. The chain has stores in Orlando, Gainesville, Indianapolis, Springdale, Ohio, and this store in Plantation.
Enson Market carries had a lot of items I recognized and even more that I didn't. They sell cleaning products, home goods, beauty products, fresh produce that included exotic fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood, pantry items, frozen food, drinks, alcohol, sweets, snacks, and more. There is a hot bar and bakery. The seafood was so fresh that it was still swimming in tanks. The snack aisle was filled with so many choices including my favorite mochi, Hi-Chew, Pocky, Ramune, and fun flavors of chips and cookies. Anyone up for squid chips or barbecue rib and pepper chicken Doritos? There was so much that I wanted to try it was almost overwhelming.
The prices and selection of food is incredible and I appreciate that they have self check out which made leaving with my purchases a breeze. People were up front to help out with that too. This store is a bit of a drive for me but next time I am in the area, I look forward...
Read moreI had high hopes for this market because they have an extensive amount of items. But they have turned me completely off now. First of all they open at 7 AM but their employees will watch you at the door and take their poor sweet time to open it until 15 minutes after open. They have horrid Customer Service. Everyone gives you blank stares when you ask basic questions or need something fixed like a price. Many of the products that are easily available like eggs are way overpriced here. When you’re surrounded by Whole Foods Trader Joe’s, Publix, who all have exceptional customer service you cannot have subpar Customer Service. The meat department smells I would not ever buy chicken or some pork products from there unless they were frozen and you have to cook them immediately. They do have some produce that you can’t get in other areas which is helpful, but we have plenty of Asian markets down here that it is not necessary to put up with the bad customer service. I will still go to my previous Asian Markets happily. Also, if you’re gonna have self check out and not open up a line, don’t have your employees stand over customers shoulders. I would genuinely be surprised if this store lasts at this location with the...

Sliding automatic doors would not open 20 minutes after opening time, but they were unlocked, so I had to pry them open so I and another shopper could get in.
Obnoxious chiming alarm noise playing in the store nonstop the whole time. I had to turn on music to drown it out or else I was about to commit arson.
Store is very cold, not just by the refrigerated aisles but everywhere, so make sure to wear a jacket and closed-toed shoes, because my toes literally went numb after a half hour in my flip-flops.
Whoever is butchering the raw chicken has no idea what they're doing because these are the sloppiest chicken cuts I've ever seen (did they rip the tenderloins off of that chicken cadaver with their teeth?!), but they are very low-priced so that's nice.
Generally I like the place a lot even though it might not sound like it, lol.
Don't come here expecting a one-to-one replacement for a mainstream Western supermarket, because there are some Western staples they don't carry, such as bread and...
