Smart & Final Extra! — Attraction in Pleasanton

Renee, I want to thank you for your excellent customer service. Every time I come in the store you were always so welcoming your hospitality exceeds the norm. You’re always full of smiles and eager to help in anyway that you can no matter how you feeling and how your day is going you are one of the main reasons I come into the store I came into the store the other day there was one checker who refused to give me a refund on a large block of cheese that I unpackaged to find that it was mold at the bottom she refused to give me a refund saying she did not have the bar code I told her I took the wrapping off and put it in a baggie I Shop here all the time I have the card that I purchased this item with can U please help me and she did not help me I had to wait until that checker got off work then when I saw Renee at the store & the manager together, I told them my story and they made sure that I was able to exchange the cheese. Mind you I shop at Smart and final all the time I’m a regular customer . I had to drive back home and get the cheese because I already left the store they exchanged the cheese for me thank you for your excellent customer service that lady can take Notes from you Renee for being very hospitable food is very expensive and I will not throw food away if I can get a refund for it . I did find what I was looking for yesterday. It was a folding black cart But it was up so high I couldn’t reach it so I began walking around in the store, hoping that they would have more on the floor, but the associate Just Past me looking at me no one asked me Could they help me this slim white guy which was probably a manager or part of loss Prevention pass me several times and never offered to help I am very aware of my surroundings ,finally asked one of the associates help me get one down she went and got a ladder and took one down for me, Cashier didn’t say hello/ thank you, She just looked me, ringing up the basket and gave me my receipt Meanwhile, the tall, slim white guy is still circling me. I’m in there to buy a basket Folding cart , The employees in there We’re not friendly to me at all if I wouldn’t have asked for help I wouldn’t have gotten help, I wasn’t in there to do any smash and grab I am 67 years old I can’t even run, I guess they’re not used to people My age and color visiting that smart and final often, Customer service people you’re representing someone...

As usual, the Diner was immaculate as we walked in. We were seated immediately as it wasn't that busy. We knew the waiter as he's served us many times before. His nickname is " Ino." He's just a very nice young man. He made us fresh coffee as we decided what we wanted. I had a double cheese burger and fries with coffee. My wife had a tasty salad and the turkey dinner.

We received our meal blazing hot. My burger was wrapped in parchment paper, which made it very easy to eat. It was perfectly cooked. My fries were fine. My wife's turkey and gravy was very good as I had to sample it. The service was great. Ino was as nice as he always is. The food was very tasty.We left a big tip as always since it was earned.
