When do people have the urge to write a review? When the service or quality is extremely bad or consistent positive experience which makes people feel good to write a review.
Let me start with a positive note. I have been eating at this place for some time going back to the time when their PITA sandwich used to be $9+ to now $13+. Make a note of this, during weekdays, they have fresh falafel and tasty Falafel pita sandwich.
Tl;DR - Make sure their counter space is clean where they cut the PITA bread and ask the folks to change their gloves, ask if their falafel is fresh or not and watch how clean the open trays with vegetables look like before you eat PITA based or you are pretty much consuming a paid laxative for the day to sit in the bathroom :)
BE AWARE - If you are eating PITA based sandwiches, then be careful with untrained or attitude filled employees who don't care to change their gloves. When you remind them you change the gloves, they give a look back at you. As usual I went there yesterday, Dec 10th, 2023 weekend without knowing that their PITA falafel will become a free laxative for the day with bad quality falafel and messy counter space filled with food debris and they cut your PITA on top of it and may hold with dirty gloves. I had stomach pain after eating their Falafel PITA sandwich. I am not a clean freak but at the same time, using the same Nitrile gloves worn for several hours or looks sloppy enough to touch the PITA bread which we will actually eat is not fair.
I am not sure if food safety department insist them to change gloves before making PITA based sandwiches and even if they do, I am not sure the business insist, train their weekend employess and one asian lady who works in weekdays to change gloves for every PITA based sandwich they make, where they need to touch the PITA bread using their hand without sleeves and PITA being food which can be consumed.
During weekdays, I guess they may have trained employees especially the man who always treat customers with respect, dignity irrespective of their color and race. He also...

Tables frequently not wiped clean. Otherwise, cleanliness is above average (floors, counters, bathroom). Food is healthy, fresh, tasty. Side of pita bread was fresh & soft. Have sat outside in nicer weather. Update: They've added tips to the credit card screen on their pos & the choices are 15,18,or 20% which is ridiculous considering this is fast casual food, no table service, they're putting a spoonful of ingredients into a cardboard bowl, self-service drinks. I understand a tip jar on the counter, but expecting a tip of $3-5 on 2 lunch entries when guests carry their own food, bus their tables, etc is not cool. It's extremely awkward to pay with credit & be asked to "complete" the sale by touching one of 3 pre-programmed tip amounts to be added to my credit card. I overheard guests expressing the same feelings - that they don't want to select a tip amount, but it feels forced on them given the new set up. We won't go back anymore - if we're going to tip 18-20%, we'll choose a full service restaurant! PS My son is a server at a full service restaurant & even he thought this new system was awkward & unreasonable as the employees are not waiting tables, bussing, refilling...
Read moreSo we typically go to a different chain for Mediterranean food , But they were closed today so we tried this place for the first time. Wow! Wow! Wow!The menu is so simple chicken or falafel, but the food was great and I was even more impressed by my server! Since corona I’ve been so paranoid about people touching my food and touching money. For example at Costco they take cash then they get a bun for my hotdogs with a thong but then use those same hands to open the bun and put the hotdog in it! No matter how many times I complained I notice it happened every time so I just stopped getting it. So back to this place, They ran out of Box of freshly made pita. I was Telling myself she’s probably gonna use the same gloves to get my pit and open it, I told myself I just don’t look just don’t look and you might not get grossed out . But after she was done she went and changed her glove and came and served me and the guy behind her also after he was done with the customer that he was helping but it changed and started serving the person behind me! I was impressed this was awesome! exceptional find and my server Joyce was so Patient as I asked her what was inside every single thing she was serving me. Great place for vegan people and meat...
