In the past, I have had awesome experiences at creatopia. However, recently my last experience was a complete fiasco. For reservations, we called multiple times when creatopia was open, and got no reply on the phone. When we got there, our table was still covered from dirty supplies from the previous occupants. When I asked about this, the workers were very condescending and unfriendly. There were a lot of people in line but almost every worker was sitting behind the counter on their phone. Halfway through painting, the workers came up to us and said that they had messed up our reservation, claiming our reservation was an hour and a half later. They said we would have to move into a tiny set-up in the corner next to a loud birthday party with no room. We decided to leave instead due to the poor service overall. We got no apologies from the workers for their mess up, just contempt. A better system is needed for reservations and the service was completely terrible from the workers. Very, very poor experience for a lot of money. We never even got to finish...
Read moreWe paint pottery once in a while. My girls love it but it’s expensive and not something we can afford all the time. (Yes there’s cheaper pieces but if you actually want to spend time there, you have to pick something that’s a little bigger, hence more expensive.) That being said, once we leave there it’s sort of out of sight, out of mind. Creatopia called me a month before they said they would throw our pieces away. Now granted I had a month, but it went right on the back burner again because I had plenty of time to pick it up. (We don’t live close.) My daughter just asked me about the pieces and I checked the date. Yep, I’m a few days too late. I think perhaps a courtesy call a couple of days before they get tossed in the trash would not be so hard. At that point, you sort of drop everything and go get it. I’m just saying.
I know it’s my own fault for forgetting about it. If you’re doing a courtesy call, maybe do just a week ahead instead of a month. Gives the customer a little more...
Read moreWw went there few days ago and painted three items. They gave us a slip with a ready date of Dec 29 after 1 PM. I went there Dec 30 at 7:00 PM and only one item was ready. I called this store in the morning and day before to check and no one answered the phone even once. I explained to the girl there that its about 20 mins drive for me to come back again and they should have at lest answered the phone to let me know its not ready. The girl was so rude and unprofessional that instead of accepting their mistake she said we are busy. I asked them can you ship the items and she said I have to pay for that. I asked to speak to manager and said not available, i asked about owner and answer was she cannot be contacted even by email. The employees there were just roaming around and chatting instead of answering phone. Shop was so disorganized that it took them 15 mins before they told me its not ready. Very unprofessional and rude employees. Will not...
