I live very near Ridley's off Pocatello Creek - and used to love them. Enter the digital age. Some bright spark decided to offer really great deals via digital coupons. One problem - no WiFi connection in store and no 4g reception.The cashier explained that sometimes people can get a signal if they go outside into the parking lot. Halfway through checkout she asked if I was going to go out and try to drum up the app and find the applicable coupons. Um...no, people behind me probably wouldn't appreciate that plus, would just probably wind me up and make me angry at the stupidity of it all. She said that you're supposed to use your app at home before you come shopping. So much for spontaneity, lol. So why even place those eye catching markers on the product shelves, letting me know how many dollars I could have saved if only they'd done this right. Also, the coffee grinder can't be plugged in so can't grind beans unless you can get an employee to borrow the extension cord for the pallet jack they use at night to stock the store. Rinky dink. So sad for this family owned venture. Hey, Boise Ridley family, are we second class customers out here...
Read moreI loved shopping at Ridley’s because of how convenient it is for me, but for the last few months, I have noticed that they got in a new cashier that isn’t friendly at all. I have been there a few times and have given her the benefit of doubt that she might be having a long, hard day. I have noticed that she is always friendly to customers before me. I always walk up to her with a friendly smile and I still always get the mean face. I believe that is has something to do with me being black. She is a blond woman that is her early 40s and tends to work at the register closest to the exit. She is the sole reason that I will not be returning to the Pocatello creek Ridley’s again. I forgot to mention that she has purposely has not given me my discounts after I entered my phone number, multiple time. The front Door is where Customer Service Begins... It can make you or break you. One particular Person that works at Ridley's... Well' let's just say... He had me at HELLO 👋🤗. His presence is Glowing & he continues to shine for customers very consistently, from what I have seen. So "Jeff Fergus" is one of a kind. Keep making us Smile 😊.
