Stopped for dinner last week...had amazing service from a sweet server...ordered the sizzler "signature" steak and salad bar...steak was less than an inch and a half wide...maybe and about 6 inches long...1/2 inch of fat and grizzle along one side the rest was tough as shoe leather....actually choked on a piece i tried to swallow to be mannerly and not spit out...very disappointed...didn't want to make a big deal...still had the salad which was tasty for the most part but labeling was off(bad if your allergic to seafood)...The chicken options are disappointing the pasta is straight from a can and not appetizing...the taco/nacos portion is usually good...but the meat or cheese sauce was not up to temperature...wasn't good cold...before submitting this review I called to talk to management....told one manager details...then someone else(actual manager) came on the line...tried to explain details...she just kept questioning why I hadn't brought it to servers attention....told me the grizzle is apparently a "fat cap to improve flavor"-looked more like trimmings off a different cut....kept asking what would I like her to do to make it right....I don't know I just want them to fix the problems so I can have a good meal when I go....no offer to comp meal on next visit just finally told me to ask for her at next visit and she'd see what she could do......no apology for poor quality...wonder what will happen when I ask for her...not sure I want to...
Read moreMy experience at Sizzler was genuinely awful. I paid $20+ to get the unlimited salad bar and a soda. The soda ended up being the best part of the meal. The taco bowls themselves were cold paperweights that felt like Styrofoam and didn't taste much better. Everything in the Taco Bowl wasn't much better. The meat was fine, and the cheese was rubbery but fine, but the toppings were absolutely disgusting. The salsa and guacamole were both extremely bitter and made the whole thing inedible. Then there's the pasta, which is textureless, watery, and tastes like leftover pasta that was left in the microwave too long. The chicken tenders were fine, but also, those are basically impossible to mess up. This was literally the equivalent of school lunch food, except you pay $20 + tip. The servers were kind, and the place itself was fine, but I can't rate it anything higher than a 1 because the food was disgusting and overpriced. You are better off getting fast food or going to a different buffet. From the couple bites of the actual food I had from friends, the steaks lacked flavor and were pretty tough, so even that you can find better elsewhere.
I know it's a Sizzler, I wasn't expecting much, but this was just awful. I've felt less robbed by having stuff of mine actually stolen. It's genuinely a...
Read moreSo my boyfriend and I just went here and I was not impressed. We wanted to try something new and we were both craving steak. Plus it’s Valentine’s Day and we wanted to eat out. Upon arrival you order at the main register and then wait in a VERY small, crowded area to be seated. We waited for a while just to be sat at a table that was open the entire time we waited. I’m assuming it was because the table was extremely wobbly and shook every time we tried to cut our steaks. Although I appreciate they wanted to seat us quicker I would have preferred to wait for a better seat. When the food was delivered I was even less impressed. Both of the steaks should have been medium-rare.. mine was medium-well and his was well done. I ate mine regardless and waited for about 10 minutes before the server was able to come back and we could tell her about his. She asked the kitchen for a new one and when it came out it was medium-well. There were also a few other issues with our food. By this point I am ready to go and don’t want to ever return. The servers were polite and did their best and I will commend the entire restaurants wearing masks and reminding guests to do the same. I’m going with two stars based solely on that alone. The food was not worth the price, and the atmosphere...
