After 22 Years, I’m Done With the Unprofessionalism at This CVS Pharmacy. I’ve been a loyal customer at the Tannersville, PA CVS for over 23 years, managing prescriptions for my 91-year-old mother. Unfortunately, the unprofessionalism and incompetence in the pharmacy, especially of the male pharmacist, have reached an unacceptable level.
We’ve experienced miscounted medications and even wrong pills dispensed in the past year — issues no customer should have to deal with, especially with critical medications.
Tonight was the final straw. When I tried to calmly address the latest issue with the new store manager, Juan, he refused to assist. Moments later, I overheard him mocking our situation, saying to the pharmacist, “We do not manufacture fake tears here,” — right at the drop-off counter and within earshot of other customers. Absolutely unprofessional. The pharmacist personally refused to dispense an emergency supply of a medicine for my mother as revenge for me complaining in the past about the degradation of accuracy of the pharmacy in the past year.
All we needed tonight was a one-pill emergency supply for my mother’s life-saving medication, something CVS has responsibly helped with before — about six times over two decades. Instead, we were met with rudeness, disregard, and zero compassion.
I’ve since had to transfer my mother’s prescriptions elsewhere, and I’m preparing to speak directly with the district manager.
It’s truly disappointing to see how far this location’s standards have fallen. CVS corporate should be aware of the lack of accountability and empathy being...
Read moreI believe Cvs could improve their customer experience, by not fabricating a false procedure while picking up medications. At approximately 5:40 pm on December 24 2024 I went to pick up medication at the drive thru window. I was met by Casey a female employee at this location. I gave her the necessary information for her to look up the medication, she then stated the medication was not on file, although I pick up the medication weekly. Casey then stated she had to check something out, to which we were left at the.window for an additional 10 minutes. During that time I took the liberty of calling my doctor to verify if the prescription had been sent. My doctor stated the medication was sent and will resend it immediately. After the 10 minutes had elapsed Casey returned to the drive thru window and stated that their are in fact refills, but that we must follow a specific protocol of calling ahead prior to picking up medications. This is totally false and i believe Casey was deliberately trying to mislead us. I frequently go here to pick up medication and if I have to wait a few minutes for the preparation of the medication, I wait for it. I also believe Casey did not want to work the remaining 20 minutes prior to the pharmacy closing. Please share some...
Read moreVery nice people and friendly when they are not busy...and lately it seems that they are overly busy which I'm sure the season has alot to do with it...but you can tell when they are busy with the shortness of most, not all, of the pharmacy personal. Now the wait time when sitting in the drive thru line is just rediculous sometimes...not sure if they are shorthanded or what but I have sat in that line for 20-30 minutes at times and it doesn't seem that much better if you go inside. I feel for the workers as I can imagine the grief they get from alot of customers and I'm sure it's not their fault...it just seems like there needs to be a better system in place..open the 2nd drive thru to full service and put 2 people dedicated to the drive thru maybe? Again, great people but sometimes their stress shows with the customers they are waiting on. Always remember to be kind...the world will be a better place if we are all just kind to...
