Staff was great. Very organized. If you’re lining up for the ferry without a reservation, make sure that you get in line with all the other cars. You pay at the window when you pull in. Make sure you arrive at least two hours prior to make sure that you get on the ferry without a reservation!

I was greeted by a friendly lady. She exchanged conversation with my husband while i walking around taking photos and videos. Lots of information/flyers you can get here. There's no public restroom inside the building.

Directly adjacent to the ferry dock, this small retail center has a limited number of shops and restaurants. Early morning, the arcade and a coffee ☕️ shop are it. Restrooms 🚻 available. Handicap ..doable

My husband and I were staying Port Angeles for a view days while exploring the Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park. We had a day to spend in the lovely town and found ourselves stumbling-upon the Visitor Center where we met Lu and Cal who told us about Port Angeles and gave us some helpful information about local stores and restaurants around. Lu suggested we go to the local aquarium right next door and see their Octopus "Oceana". We listened to her advice and found ourselves submerged in information and amazing ocean wild life caught and rescued locally. Alex and the other gentlemen running the show at the aquarium were well informed and really helped guide us through the facility and discover new species! We highly suggest checking this fascinating establishment out! Lu also pointed us in the direction to a local restaurant called "Next Door" where we enjoyed some of the best burgers we've ever had. The restaurant sources locally and has any awesome menu fit for anyone's needs. We couldn't have enjoyed Port Angeles as much if it wasn't for the help of Lu and Cal - we appreciate them so much and thank them for their love and knowledge...

2/24 Spoke over the phone with “Ed” who was extremely helpful, insightful, knowledgeable in planning our anniversary trip to the Olympic Peninsula. He saved us time and resources in avoiding pitfalls and time wasted on this limited time get-away. Highly recommended to speak directly with this individual when planning your next trip to the Olympic area. Thanks Ed…we hope to meet you in person when we arrive! Addendum on 6/30/24: Upon finalizing the details of our 40th Anniversary trip to the Peninsula, we called the Visitors Center and this time spoke with ‘Marie’…She could not have been more friendly and helpful in finalizing these last minute details…Even calling us back with important details. I’m certain, thanks to their help (Ed, and now Marie, and the entire staff at the VisitorsCenter) our trip will be smooth sailing and worry free! Thank you a thousand times from Wisconsin…We look forward to thanking you personally when we arrive...

Horrible older woman staffed when I came in late Saturday 2-29-20 about 15 minutes before closing. She knew nothing, not even the names of the places I was asking about that were right behind her building and popular tourist attractions, she said "I have no idea what you'retalking about". I asked about the marine touch tanks 1 minute away and she said they were closed, I walled right into them afterwards.. open!! She handed me a map & told me to go shopping. I told her I was looking for family fun activities and she said "There's not really much fun around here." TIME TO RESTAFF even if volunteers, they should be knowledgeable and...
