My husband and I were staying Port Angeles for a view days while exploring the Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park. We had a day to spend in the lovely town and found ourselves stumbling-upon the Visitor Center where we met Lu and Cal who told us about Port Angeles and gave us some helpful information about local stores and restaurants around. Lu suggested we go to the local aquarium right next door and see their Octopus "Oceana". We listened to her advice and found ourselves submerged in information and amazing ocean wild life caught and rescued locally. Alex and the other gentlemen running the show at the aquarium were well informed and really helped guide us through the facility and discover new species! We highly suggest checking this fascinating establishment out! Lu also pointed us in the direction to a local restaurant called "Next Door" where we enjoyed some of the best burgers we've ever had. The restaurant sources locally and has any awesome menu fit for anyone's needs. We couldn't have enjoyed Port Angeles as much if it wasn't for the help of Lu and Cal - we appreciate them so much and thank them for their love and knowledge about the city!
