Destination Beach & Surf — Attraction in Port Aransas

At 12:00 in the afternoon,I went in to get a Henna tattoo. I had just come in from being in the beach for a few hours and was sweaty. The Instruction sheet they had posted said they would clean the tattoo location with alcohol before applying it. She did not clean it at all and just started applying the ink. They looked nice when she was done. I paid $73 for two small tattoos. They were much pricier than I expected, but I was willing to bite the bullet for a little fun that should last a few weeks. Both her verbal instructions and the posted instructions said the ink would dry in 1-2 hours, begin to peel and then I should wash it off. At the two hour mark, they were still wet and sticky. I kept protecting them from smudges and hoped they would dry soon. At 5:30, they were still wet and sticky. At 9:00 pm, they were still wet and sticky. They never dried so I could peel it off and wash. I finally had to take a shower so I could go to bed and when I tried to wash them, they smeared ink all over my arm, leg and hand, leaving me with semi-permanent stains everywhere and looking terrible. The next day I went in and talk to the manager explaining what happened. I totally understood that if I had smudged them, it would be on me, but it seems that either they had a defective product or by not cleaning the area first she messed up. She just said they don't give any refunds. She offered to give me a partial store credit, but I knew if I accepted those terms I would have no recourse for getting my money back. I am challenging the charges...

We went in to purchase each of our kids some hermit crabs and had not a clue what it would Intel. We were completely blown away with the customer service we received from Sammy!!! He knew exactly everything there is to know about handling and caring for the crabs as pets and gave plenty of suggestions on what to do when we got home as he has a cool sounding hermit crab farm at his home as well! I do not usually leave reviews but the company could not have hired a more knowledgeable, kind, and funny person to make customers like us want to return year after year. He made our experience one that had no ways to express our thanks!
