Hurricane Harvey shredded this once-beautiful birding park, but the boardwalk has been rebuilt, and the birds are still there, minus a few trees. Least Grebes, Common Gallinules, Yellowthroat, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Marsh wrens were quite enjoyable! I recommend! There are benches where you can sit and watch the birds, and at various times of the year it actually has water in the pond. Not right now because of the drought.
