Our online curbside order was incomplete which we didn't realize till we left Whataburger headed back to work. We were almost back on the job site before we saw that my boss's burger was missing but we had an extra order of french fries that we hadn't ordered. Having a time frame we needed to finish our job by, our boss who'd bought lunch said he'd wait to eat till later but we couldn't go back to Whataburger till after finishing in 2 or 3 hours. After work we went to the Whataburger in Port Aransas Texas and I waited for at least 15 minutes, and the poor cashier appeared to be alone with a line almost out the door. He said someone else would come talk to me but it looked like id ordered it incorrectly online. I waited for at least another ten minutes before the assistant manager came out. She argued with me and said id just ordered it incorrectly. My boss and I had gone over the details of the burger he wanted several times tho while I entered it, but I wasn't there to argue about this . Maybe I hadn't understood the app well but I knew Id entered his and not an extra FF before checking out. My burger was also cold and dry and the bun was very stale. I also brought back the extra FF uneaten but the assistant manager I think she was said they weren't doing anything about it unless they charged us again for anything we wanted. I asked for her name. She walked away and another woman came out looking angry at me as soon as she stepped up behind the counter. She again tried to argue the same points. I finally asked her about the FF that I still had in the bag in my hand. She then said they still wouldn't do anything for us because it has been 3 hours since we'd been in, of course the second visit took an additional hour almost with my boss waiting outside in his vehicle. I sent a complaint to headquarters and they sent me a automated email saying I'm sorry for any inconvenience and gave me 500 rewards points which if course was enough for another order of french fries. Read moreThis Whataburger has very slow service and they seemed to get everyone’s order mixed up. My wife and I were done in customers and at all other Whataburger restaurants you get a small orange table tent with your order number. At this Whataburger they give you the receipt and they yell your order number from the counter and you go get your food in a paper bag. We both ordered a large onion ring instead of the fries. When we were sitting at our table, I looked at the receipt and they gave my wife onion rings but my combo said large fries. We felt so bad for the staff screwing up so many orders, we just left it alone and we split the fries and onion rings between us. They asked us if we wanted any catchup and we said yes 4 spicy packets. It said 4 spicy packets on our receipt but we didn’t get any catchup at all. I got in line again since there were no employees in the dining room at all. They didn’t have catchup out on the self serve counter with the salt and pepper and drink fountain. Standing in line again, I saw a tray of condiments including spicy catchup behind the cashier and counter. I left the line and reached behind the cashier and grabbed 4 spicy packets. We were finally able to eat our food about 25 minutes after we ordered. I’m pretty sure they were just lacking help like every other restaurant...
Read moreWaited till 11:30 pm to run out and grab food cuz they start breakfast service at 11pm and i wanted biscuits n gravy. Sis ordered grilled chicken taco....no tortillas for taco. Then they tell me I've got to wait 7minutes so they can cook some biscuits. My sister decides fine we can wait for biscuits and orders a cinnamon roll for her and one for dad at home. and my daughter orders a medium fry. We get drinks get sat down wait for food and after some time they come tell me they don't have any gravy or sausage ready either. She says can I get you something else " i said ....No just my money back since that's what we came for." I go to the counter and the employee refunds our ENTIRE order says have a nice night ladies and walks away started working on drive thru orders....so......we get NOTHING WE ORDERED? no fries? no cinnamon rolls? And the manager on duty hid in the back making her employees handle the refund etc. Shortages, late starting breakfast service and ridiculous treatment by staff and management....
