The beach is clean - the sand is bulldozed daily to remove debris and any seaweed. There are trash cans and porta potties placed at regular intervals and a number of clean water showers at beach exits. Note that you'll have to buy a $12 parking permit for any vehicle you plan to park on the beach and that permit is good for the year. You can get them at convenience stores near the beach and at a stand right on the beach. Also there is a strict leash law for pups on the beach.
