Port Aransas Beach Club — Hotel in Port Aransas

We have been coming to Port A Beach Club for at least the past 5 years. The facility is great because we have a large group for family reunion every year. This property was previously managed by Port A Escapes and was VERY well maintained. This place survived hurricanes when many others didn't.

Stayed in Beach Club 2. Arrived to the pool being cloudy and green. Wifi was non existent. Called the new management company. They sent out a pleasant young man who was not able to remedy. Stated they would be back at 8 am the following morning and no showed. Internet access is particularly important as all of the TV's are run on Roku and require wifi.

Deck on second floor looks structurally unstable with sagging in the mid portion. Looks like rather than repairing, the management company just locked the door so nobody can enjoy this area

Air conditioner drip pan was overflowing with water on the floor. This required another call but fortunately was fixed fairly quickly

In summary, prices have gone up significantly while the quality of maintenance has plummeted.

Please keep in mind that the change in management companies occurred in the last year so all of the 5 start reviews are for the previous management,...

We’ve had a group of 60+ staying in the Port A Beach Clubhouses for four years. Same five days/weekend in July. The previous management company was amazing. They were locals who cared about the community and ensuring the Port A experience was always top notch.

The new management company? Trash. We were set to have all four clubhouses in 2021 and paid in advance, only to have two “double booked” weeks before our trip. The two clubhouses we still had were terrible — appliances broken, pools left dirty, awful communication, critter droppings…just terrible.

We gave them the benefit of the doubt and rebooked for this year. Only to find out three weeks before our trip that they had once again “double booked.” Still waiting on our refund. New management company is a joke. These once welcoming homes have quickly turned into a dumpster...

Wonderful place for a group. Great amenities. Tons of room. Indoor and outdoor entertainment available. Appeals to every age. Only problem was couldn't find the way to turn on the pool light at night. I don't think it was their problem, though. I was...
