This place does not have any wait staff only runners. When you walk in, it is empty. There is a sign that directs you to order outside. While we were trying to figure out what we wanted to eat someone poked their head out from the kitchen and said we had to order outside which we already knew because of the giant neon sign. We went outside, ordered, and sat down. The appetizer(chips and queso) came out pretty quick. Not homemade, something premade or from a food service company. My wife and daughter ordered burgers, my other daughter ordered the fried shrimp, and I ordered the spicy fried chicken(which on the menu said it was made to order and there would be a wait). No harm, no foul. My wife and daughters food came out fairly quick as well but it was swimming in oil from the fries. When the runner dropped it off he said my chicken would be a minute because again it is made to order. When the chicken finally came out, it was wrong and the rest of my family was nearly finished with their food. Not only was it not spicy, it was basically battered in unseasoned batter, fried, and brought to our table swimming in oil as well. I tried a bite of my daughter's burger and it was frozen and tasted like a Bubba burger that you would get from HEB. I don't know how you will get away with not having a wait staff on a Friday night on busy street corner in Port Aransas and survive. I guess, good luck.

Nestled in the heart of Port Aransas, Texas, Bier Haus offers a laid-back dining experience that's perfect for unwinding after a day on the beach. The vibe is refreshingly chill, with the majority of the seating being outdoors, allowing you to soak up the coastal breeze. If you prefer to escape the sun, they also have cozy indoor seating options that maintain the restaurant's relaxed atmosphere. One of the highlights of my visit was the prickly pear margarita. It was a delightful blend of sweet and tangy, with just the right amount of tequila kick. Perfectly refreshing, it set the tone for the rest of the meal. Now, let's talk about the shrimp tacos. Simply put, they were some of the best I've ever had. The shrimp were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and paired with a medley of fresh toppings that complemented each bite. You have a blackened or fried option, I opted for the blackened option. Whether you're a taco aficionado or just looking for something delicious, these tacos are not to be missed. Overall, Bier Haus is a gem in Port Aransas, combining a relaxed ambiance with standout food and drinks. It's the kind of place that makes you want to linger just a little longer, savoring both the food and the laid-back coastal vibe.

We ate dinner here tonight. It’s was rough to say the least. The women taking orders are super friendly. Lindsey was awesome and recommended the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and Philly. Both were awesome. The fried mushrooms are fantastic. The monte cristo was amazing. The jam was the best I’ve had with one. Unfortunately my daughter’s patty melt was terrible. Bread was completely solid. Patty was burned to death. And she likes well done. So if it’s too done for her that’s bad. But the workers did their best to accommodate and were super apologetic. I will say the wait for food here is super long. Like 1-1.5 hours. Don’t show up with hungry kids. If you order fried items expect it to take longer. Overall I would eat here again. The food was really really good for the most part. Oh and stay away from the tea. It looked really dirty inside. Super cute atmosphere. Hope y’all’s night got better and thanks again! Oh and clean the tea dispenser please!!

I want to start by saying.. we've visited this spot before. This place has alot of potential. However, today's visit was extremely upsetting and disgusting. I ordered my food at the container. As i stood there waiting for my food the person after me was ordering and was told it would be about a 45 min wait due to the kitchen being "backed up". I'm about 5 min in still waiting on my food outside, and i see multiple (at least 4 males/cooks) come in and out of the kitchen area to the back/outdoor area and they all were passing around what looked like a joint (by the way they were holding it) and by the way it smelled it confirmed to me that they were smoking weed. I also saw 1 gentleman drinking a beer. (Green glass bottle) Allll this is going on for about a good 10 minutes. All of them going in and out from kitchen to the back side of the building taking turns hitting the joint. So this was obvious that the kitchen was "backed up" because they were too busy smoking and drinking while on the job! Ultimately what they do, i could care less! But you are handling my food! And if you're going in and out of the kitchen, I'm almost 100% sure you are not washing your hands! Also, one of the cooks sneezed right on the palm of his hand and went straight back to cooking!!! After this i didn't want to cause a scene as they had a pretty long line and I felt honestly more embarrassed to ask for a refund to be denied and embarrassed, although i did nothing wrong but it was a bunch of young guys working. So if the owner sees this review. I hope you can revise with your employees, primarily the cooks as this was very unsanitary. Also, i want to make note, while I was ordering, althogh, it was not anything the bartender did wrong, but the salt he uses to put on the rim, was open and flies sat there for a...

I wish we had taken a picture of the food, but we didn’t. However, it’s not about the appearance of what was served. we ordered the Americana burger or the American all American burger, and the lamb burger along with a side order of fries. Our order took no less than 55 minutes merely an hour from the point that we placed the order till we received our food. The fries stone cold my burger was just warm. My husbands. Lamberger was horrendous absolutely horrendous. It’s some skimpy thin little this new Smashburger thing they try with this. It was the most horrible thing he’s ever tasted no flavor poor presentation an egg on this is very confusing, the tzatziki sauce do they even know how to make tzatziki sauce I would say not. I don’t know what else to say really. We sat down outside. It was a nice evening the stone top table that they had there no one ever and I mean ever bothers to wipe these things. and it was slow they weren’t busy at all. There’s hardly anyone there.. Tables hadn’t been cleaned. Nothing is wiped down the top of sticky and just a poor overall experience. I might add that you would think that perhaps the food had taken so long due to the fact that it was a busy night no could not be further from the truth. This was a weekday. I would say about six 6:30 PM and there was only maybe a small handful of people. There is absolutely no reason why it should take an hour to cook two burgers and an order of fries. This is just pure nonsense and then when we get the food it’s cold. Also the outside tables are next to the street, so anytime one of the golf carts carts happen to go through or a vehicle passes by you’re smelling all those fumes coming right up to the table. I really feel sorry I wasted my...

Visited Port A for my fiancé's Birthday. After looking for a place to eat after the beach, we came across Bierhaus. We were excited because they are dog friendly and all the photos of the food looked so good. We ordered the fried mushrooms, fish tacos, shrimp tacos (we couldn't pick a aa1a2iun8kbyiso we got both) and the Haus burger with bacon. We also ordered a corn dog for our pup and 2 pricklypear margaritas. Everything was AMAZING!!! The tacos were perfectly seasoned and the tortillas were some of the best we've ever had. The burger was GINORMOUS but tasted so good! The house sauce and the egg were the perfect additions to a well cooked burger. We thought it would be an ok size because normally when you order a double the patties are very thin. That was not the case here. We ended up giving our pup almost an entire patty because it was so big. The home cut fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mushrooms were good but my only complaint is they were all stuck together from the beer batter. But the flavor was defintely there. The ranch that came with it was very good too and a little on the thick side so each dunk had just the right amount without running off. The margaritas was amazing as well! A little on the strong side but hey nothing wrong with that! Overall we really enjoyed out visit. We had googled the place and read reviews and I must say this place EXCEEDED our expectations!!! I defintely encourage you to visit if you read this far!!! I wish I would have taken pictures but we were hungry and completely focused on the food and all...
