I had gotten a stroller travel system earlier this week that was an online return item on clearance. Well the person that had returned the stroller before me, had obliviously used it and then taped the box back up and returned it. The first cashier scanned it and it didn't give me $105 in Kohls cash back that I used to purchase the stroller. She got a manager and showed her the online receipt from my account for the item. On Kohls online receipt system it just shows Kohls cash as a "coupon" and not the specific number so she was trying to tell me that if it didn't give it back to me in the system when they returned the order, then basically I don't get it back. She was so rude and treating me like I was one of those people trying to scam a store. We went back and forth about this cause obliviously I didn't use a percent off coupons on this item, when they aren't allowed too. I went back out to my van and was able to find my printed receipt. Then as I was walking up to the desk she made a comment how they can't do anything without the printed receipt, which at that point was nice handing that over to her. Finally her and another manager figured it out that apparently someone put the wrong type of scan code on the item, so it was glitching in the system during the return...that was all after having her be rude to me and treating me like a scammer. What's even more annoying is she put my Kohl's cash on the recent Kohl's cash paper that expires in 2 days.. the cashier training was amazing and had way better customer service skills than Toni does. This isn't my first time having to experience her rudeness. I finally have to write a review after being treated so poorly by someone in management at a customer...
Read moreI used to love coming to Kohl's, but not so much anymore. My last visit was not so pleasant. While I was in line picking up and online order (which had of course a long line) one of my children pressed the need assistance button the the kiosk. One of the workers came over shortly after and I apologized that my son had hit the button and she clearly annoyed walked away. Please note that I have 4 children and dread shopping alone with my kids as it is. Well despite my efforts to have the kids keep their hands in their pockets one of them hit the button again. The same lady came over and I apologize again and she was not having it. She proceeded to tell me how she couldn't believe we pressed it again and how she was so busy and didn't have times for games. Even though I do understand her frustration she should not have acted that way towards a customer. Upon checking out with a few toys I picked up trying to prepare for Christmas I was told that my coupon wouldn't work for the toys. Already annoyed by the bad customer service and now the coupon issue I decided to just leave. Although I do still try to shop online for things it seems like everytime I pick items I want and checkout I shortly after get an email saying they apologize but they no longer have the product. With all of these continued problems I sadly say that Kohl's is longer my go to place. Hopefully they can get back to being great with some much needed...
Read moreThe holiday season is certainly a busy time for those associates at stores who have to deal with long lines of sometime impatient people trying to get store deals and complete their shopping. In that atmosphere it easy for an associate to forget their smile or perhaps even greet you with little enthusiasm. Therefore, I’d like to share my experience at the Kohl’s store in Port Orange, Florida where I was greeted sweetly by the associate Louise In the evening of probably a long day. She checked the price of the item for me and explained the deal for that item Even with the long line, she patiently waited as I struggled to find my Kohl’s discount coupon. She told me to take my time and then demonstrated such kindness to my 94 year old mom whom she also complemented as I searched my phone. As promised she got my mom the best price for her purchase simply by asking the right questions in conversation with me. As we thanked her and wished her happy holiday, she smiled and wished us the best of holidays just before the next client approached. Kind, sweet, patient and knowledgeable about all the kohls offers available, Louise embodied a person who enjoys working with people and also enjoys her job. I’d say that it’s a reflection of the Christmas spirit but I have a good feeling that it is just who she is...
