Waffle House — Restaurant in Port Orange

I am editing this review although keeping a 5 because Denara and the food again was amazing what a great way to start the day with her. However we were appalled at the supervisor Latoya. She belittled her staff outloud in front of customers. We came in and asked for Denara and she started telling her we should have sat somewhere else even though we sat down and asked for her. Then Latoya made our food wrong and instead of just correcting it she blammed Denara for ordering wrong which she didn't. Then just threw a piece of cheese on my hashbrowns. Waffle House on Taylor Road in Port Orange is the best Waffle House in Volusia County!! With plenty of fast and friendly servers, getting a meal is quick and easy at this location!! My favorite time to come is during the third shift. Their third shift cook, Amanda, is amazing!! She gets every meal done right every time. If they Haven't run out of gravy, You'll wish they had... This young lady whips up the best fresh gravy for your biscuits!! Visited this Waffle House while traveling. Found the service to be slow and clumsy. The server was very pleasant but completely lost and confused. Our orders came in a very scattered way and then he had extra items we had not ordered and did not want. Again, he was pleasant and courteous but not efficient at all. When it came time to pay, our bill had additional items and was more than $10 over the correct amount. The young man at the register was super helpful and took a lot of time to get it all corrected for us. The restaurant was clean.
