CHINA CHEF — Restaurant in Port Orange

Been living in Port Orange for 5 years and have tried many different Chinese restaurants but none of them were as good as this one. I wanted to order the curry chicken but they didn't have it included with the combination dinners. So I asked if they could do one and they said no problem. That was great. Now on to the food! I do not recommend China Chef in Port Orange!! There is no filling in the wontons for the soup and they weren’t fresh. When I said something the employee said she’s sorry that she thought I was taking my order to go! (Which is worse) because then I would’ve had to drive back!! The inside of the egg roll was very mushy. The sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and was served with cold sauce like it was just taken out of the refrigerator! I see now why they don’t allow reviews on their fb page! That’s what I get for trying...

Very accommodating and friendly people. I've been eating their food for years. I liked the location when it was at the other end of the shopping center better but I like the fast service and yummy, yummy food. If you like lo- mein the House Special Lo-mein is really good.
