SCROLL TO PICTURE OF MY REAL NAIL 1 WEEK LATER!!!!!! Is really insane to me how you can go to a nail salon and have a great experience as I did with Ben. I had recently moved here and was trying to find a good nail tech and it was almost impossible and I felt like Ben did so good when I went as a walk-in at the end of October. However, I made an appointment on Monday for today which is Thursday for a pedicure and a fill with the same person. I was 20 minutes early. I get there & they put me in one of the chairs with someone. I did not make the appointment with and the water was scolding hot. When I told them that it was hot. They told me it doesnât get any colder⊠they proceeded to give me a pedicure with somebody who Iâm pretty sure doesnât even work there ITS THAT BAD. my pedicure lasted a whole 18 minutes and I have not had a pedicure in over five years. I just cannot believe what I am left with on my hands & my feet. I truly donât know where to begin. My toenails were not filed. My cuticles were not cut. My rough spots were not filed down and my toenails were cut into squares. It is hideous!!! But it gets worse. In consideration of my hands. I went in for a fill. I went two weeks ago. I feel should be easy. I told the person that I was given to (again not the person that I made the appointment with In the beginning of the week), but somebody else Who couldâve cared less.. I showed the nails that were coming up. Iâve never went to a salon in my entire life at 40 years old where they didnât cut off the part of the nail that was coming up to be able to fill a clean slate they just filled right over it and they were still coming up and when I told him he had attitude⊠and then his appointment came in so then I was handed off to the person I actually made the appointment with, and I donât know what the heck happened to him in the last two weeks, but my nails have never looked worseâŠ. He never had me stay under the light long enough for them to dry so theyâre literally see-through. They werenât filed at all⊠nor buffed. They werenât cleaned underneath. Iâm bleeding. And three out of 10 nails are coming up STILL. I can literally pull my real nail apart from the fake nail. I paid more today than I did when I got my nails on with a designâŠ. Not to mention he told me to wash my hands and the towels smelled SOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!! I do not recommend this place whatsoever if you want a look such as I am posting def go. But donât bother making an appointment because it doesnât matter you will not get the same person and even so having him âfinishâ them and paint them they look so bad!! I donât know what is so different about my last appointment but I am about to go and get these soaked off somewhere else because my real nails look 10 times better than what I just left this location with. paid 109. I heard the guy tell him itâs 60 and 20 he tells me my total is 130. I said that equals 80 then he goes no itâs because you got gel and you got long nails⊠I said I got gel polish. I did not get gel fill. The point in gel polish is so theyâre not see-through and they are. Theyâve literally look like theyâve been on for three weeks. Theyâre rising off of my cuticles that werenât cut, and I have blood in all my nail beds.. just wow!! And I am a very good tipper. I kept $30 just for my full set last time that I went and my nails look so bad right now that I could not even justify giving him a dollar.
Itâs been 24 hours later and the paint is dripping off and the nails are coming off...
Read moreI have been a consistent customer there for a very long time. My daughter moved here in May and we have been routinely going together for pedicures. I called today before they opened and nobody answered, they were kind enough to call me back and I asked for appointments and they gave us 11:30. We arrived on time (it was busy) but they seated us right away and within a few minutes started my daughter. Another couple had arrived right after us (walk ins) and were taken about ten minutes after us. My feet were in the water THIRTY MINS before anyone touched me - and that couple I mentioned were finished and out of there before me. I was extremely unhappy and shared with the owner that I didnât feel it was very nice to treat year round customers so rudely (as though itâs a given we will return). We did have appointments and they did not, (they made it clear when they came in) two techs took care of them while I sat there waiting. Obviously my daughter was finished long before me - not what you want when you schedule simultaneous services and plan a day together. I got an âIâm sorryâ. Really? Time for a new shop.
In response to the ownerâs response: It was my impression âLindaâ was the owner or perhaps the manager and she was indeed present and the one who took the other customers ahead of us (who had no appointment and hadnât been there before). We also were never asked the type of pedicure - we usually opt for more than the basic. T eventually (after 30 mins) did my pedi and was very good, but walked away wordlessly, leaving my daughter to come and try to put on my shoes - at which point Linda rushed over and said I wasnât done. It was not normal service and it was blatant that we were being disregarded in favor of ânew businessâ. So, no thank you, Linda couldâve called me or offered more than a âso sorryâ. We usually take very good care of the techs as well but this experience was not to be repeated. The other couple left smiling, way ahead of...
Read moreThis was my first time trying this salon. It was also my first time trying healthy nails. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a nail salon and I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years. I started with a pedicure which was mediocre. I showed them the dip powder I was doing on my fingers and asked if they had a similar color in regular polish. The color that they gave me was purple instead of brown, and she proceeded to paint my toes, even though you could see that the polish was old, lumpy, and too thick. I asked if I could pick another color which was not a problem. However, I was left with uneven, toenails and polish on my skin, even after asking her to clean them up. Then I went through the trauma of getting healthy nails. I do not recommend Tomas, as he is not skilled in healthy nails and was not willing to fix what he had done. He expected me to walk out of there with chunks of product left on my skin, stains from the dip powder all over, my nails were not shaped at all, and he cut me twice and continued to go over the areas after telling him it was painful. I explained that I was not paying for my nails to be left this way. He then proceeded to tell me that it's my fault for picking a dark color and that he spent an hour doing my nails, as if I had not spent an hour sitting there while he did them. He did not offer to fix them. Luckily, the lady that was sitting at the first table, who I'm assuming is the owner, was very apologetic, and did her best to fix the mess that he created. I left there with my nails looking much better, but only so much could be done to what he had already done. As sweet as she was and as hard as she tried to fix it, she ended up cutting me even more and charged me full price after sitting there for 2 hours. She did give me a 15% off coupon to go back. However, I will not be using it after that experience. My fingers are now extremely swollen from all the filing and I have three cuts to go...
