We brought my daughters iPhone 11 in for a battery replacement. After the job was finished, my wife picked up the phone, dropped it in her purse and headed home without inspecting the phone. When she got home, she took out the phone and went over it. First thing we noticed was the camera was taking blurry photos. Shortly after that we noticed the screen was discolored at the bottom. The next day I took the phone back to the store. Somehow, the camera was working again, but the screen was worse. I thought they had separated the digitizer from the glass but the was told it looked like water damage. I told them they needed to replace the screen since whatever happened to it was their fault. They kept the phone and had a tech take a look at it. He stated there was water damage and there was nothing they could do about it. He stated it wasn't their fault. My wife showed him the TIME STAMPED blurry photos, which was likely caused from water damage, from 20 minutes after she picked up the phone. He claimed that they are not allowed to have water or drinks in the repair area so it couldn't have been their fault. Well, it wasn't ours! The phone was transported in my wife's purse, and there are no liquids in there (I even checked just to be sure)! Batteries Plus would not concede that they damaged the phone. They would not replace the screen. We paid for a battery replacement and they got water in the phone, ruined the screen, and washed their hands of responsibility. Total lack of integrity. To anyone thinking of using them for an iPhone battery replacement, don't. Send it in to Apple or go to an Apple store. It's worth the extra effort so your phone...
Read moreI was about to make an online order but I called ahead about inventory for pickup. The guy I talked to said I should just come in and they would make the battery I needed. I told him I wanted to get the online discount so I would order online and bring the order in. He said that wasn't necessary and that if I mentioned it in person they would give us the discount in-store. My husband went. Mentioned the discount and this whole exchange. The woman working there refused to honor the promised discount. So that was disappointing and trust-breaking. I don't like being misled like that. We bought the battery anyway because even without the discount their prices are very competitive.
Update: the battery works great, though! It was for a power wheels car and it has plenty of zip and the charge is long-lasting. Probably even better than a battery straight from fisher price.
Another update: a store associate contacted us less than a week after I posted the review above, apologized for the confusion, and offered to send a check for the amount the discount would've been. It's rare you find a business so determined to satisfy every customer! I feel much more comfortable recommending them to everyone I know now, and I'll definitely seek them out for future...
Read moreI purchased a battery here, took it home (while keeping battery held up right), and charged it for the recommended amount of time. The battery worked for the few minutes I used it one day. The next day the battery was dead. I tried charging it and was only able to get a max of 6V. I took the battery back since it was still in the warranty period and explained that I was not able to get this battery to hold a charge. The larger guy (I'll get his name later) behind the counter immediately began to accuse me of mistreating the battery. He said I must have spilled some acid since it is so low and when I told him I transported it upright and did not spill any he began to tell me that I must have overcharged the battery then. Meanwhile, I do not even have a battery charger that will let me over charge batteries. He went on to say a few other things of how it was probably my fault and was not going to warrant the warranty. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the customer service here and I HIGHLY recommended going anywhere else for your battery needs.
Reply: no one said there wasn't any electrolyte in it. Can we discuss how your employee didn't fill it correctly too? Also, I'm not sure who you are quoting because that's not what was written in...
