I hope management sees this review and really looks into improving. The only reason I gave it a 2 star rating is because the African American girl working the night shift Friday seemed to have a better understanding than the Indian woman who was on the cashier. Upon walking in I was not greeted by anyone. The cashier was taking a bucket of something out of the freezer, looked at me standing at the register, said nothing, and continued what she was doing. She didn't even put on any gloves as she reached into the bucket and put something in the deep fryer. As she lazily walks toward the register, she just staring blankly. Iâm waiting for her to say something and after an awkward 30 seconds of silence. I just start telling her my order but I was waiting for you to initiate the conversation, by saying hello, can I get a name for the order? what would like order? You know, basic customer service etiquette. I ordered a 6pc bone in fries fried hard. After my order she continued to work on the pick up orders. However, there was no one else in the lobby but me. I waited nearly 30 minutes. Seeing her make several delivery orders, that just ended up sitting there, bothered me after 20 minutes of waiting. After 25 minutes I finally asked how much longer. She said 5 more minutes I have to drop your fries and fry them longer. The cashier didnât seem to understand that making a customer in the lobby wait longer because you're making delivery orders for drivers who havenât even arrived, isnât the best use of time and isnât customer service oriented. Not greeting people when they walk in doesnât make them want to come back. When I got the food, I was further disappointed. The wings were not good. Iâve had wing stop several times and itâs usually the same across the board. This is the worst wingstop Iâve encountered. It tastes like the chicken was frozen and then deep fried. It was very rubbery and hard to eat. And the fries were soft. I only ate two wings and a couple fries and threw the rest away....
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to indulge in some wings at Wingstop, and I have to say that my overall experience was just okay. While there were a few highlights, the food failed to leave a lasting impression.
Let's start with the positives. Wingstop offers an extensive variety of wing flavors, ranging from mild to spicy. This allows you to find the perfect level of heat to suit your taste buds. The wings themselves were cooked well, with a satisfying crispy texture on the outside.
However, when it comes to flavor, Wingstop fell a bit short. While some of the sauces were decent, others lacked the complexity and boldness I was hoping for. The flavors seemed somewhat generic and didn't quite deliver that "wow" factor that I look for in a wing joint.
The sides and extras offered at Wingstop were also average at best. The fries, for example, were underwhelming, lacking the perfect balance between crispy and fluffy. They were rather plain and could have used some extra seasoning or a unique twist to make them stand out.
On a positive note, the service at Wingstop was satisfactory. The staff members were friendly and took our orders promptly. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with a casual and relaxed atmosphere that suited the wing-eating experience.
In conclusion, Wingstop provided a mediocre experience for me. While the wings were cooked well and the variety of flavors was commendable, the lackluster execution and unimpressive sides left me feeling underwhelmed. If you're looking for wings that truly knock your socks off, you might want to explore other options before settling for Wingstop.
Remember, personal tastes can vary, so it's always good to give it a try yourself and see if Wingstop's offerings align with your liking. I might give them a try in the future but...
