Lake Effect Westnedge 24 Hour Recreational and Medical Marijuana Dispensary — Attraction in Portage

Not crazy about the whole experience. I came to this place not only because it was 24hrs but they had some decent deals. However, I disliked my experience. I was there around 11p and the staffers were very nice! I did enjoy talking to them. What I had an issue with despite liking them is the limit they allowed me to buy. The legal limit in Michigan is 15 concentrates and 2.5 ounces per transaction. I had got ten 1 grams carts and wanted to add 2 OZ to my order since it was 50% off first purchase. When I went to add the 2 ounces (regular flower NOT infused)I was told that my 10 carts alone get me over the limit and that I couldn't add any of the OZ to that current order. After talking a bit with the budtender about the issue he ended up confusing about the limits so I just didn't want to be difficult and just went with whatever he said. This killed my friends and my experience because I wanted to end up buying more product for less with my 50% deal. If you're need a 24 hr dispensary with some okay deals, I recommend this place. However if you can wait until 9a (unlike me) I would recommend going to King of Budz, Pure Michigan Outlet or even Doja in Watervliet. Over there they not only have good deals but they will allow you to take the state limit....Also I forgot to add after completing this. I bought 3 pack of prerolls all the same brand and was shorted joints. In two packs I got six joints and in one pack I have only 4 joints. Make sure to look out for that as well if you buy a pack...

I had such a nice experience when I visited Lake Effect this past Sunday; which just so happened to be Mother's Day. And yes I went with my mother, I was looking specifically for something to help with her arthritis pain and my own muscles soreness, aches, and trouble sleeping. When I tell you that Adam was absolutely amazing, I mean Adam was amazing! When I say Adam got me right! I mean Adam got me R.I.G.H.T! He listened to my and her concerns, was very informative and made great suggestions for edibles as well as flower. He informed me about the ease of acquiring what I need 24 hrs a day, call, order online, or come in and a drive thru for even more convenience. Like when my mother may not be able to get up and walk inside with ease, she can just drive thru get what she needs and go home. So now that Adam is my personal Bud Tender, and yes I do have his work schedule so I can work with him directly (did I mention how good he is at what he does?) and I will definitely be back in the future! I've been coming to Lake Effects south westnedge location and I can honestly say, Lake Effect is one of the very few dispensaries I can go to any time, any day, literally open 24/7. And I've never had ti wait more than 5 minutes. And that's only happened once out of the ory three dozen times I've gone there. I highly recommend the budtender named ADAM! He's a great guy and gives the best recommendations for smoke or anything else you may need. LAKE EFFECT is for sure the place to go for all your marijuana needs.

I had apparently not been signed up for the loyalty program and I've been shopping here for a good while now.
