Inclusive playground with swings, super wide slides, a climbing area, 2 tennis courts, and lots & lots of wide open grass that includes a softball field. There is a large "sand pit" area that has tons of toys, mostly dump trucks, to play with. It also has an artificial rock with some iron animals attached to it. My daughter tucked under the fake rock ledge and we did some pretend play for a bit. Since it kept my 11yo's attention, I imagine many other kids will enjoy it as well. The park includes a paved pathway, great for wheelchairs and strollers as well bipedals & bicycles..all the 'cycles! 😀 There is a large xylophone that is super fun to play with as well. That is probably our favorite feature...
Read moreOne of our favorite playgrounds. It has a little bit of everything for every kid's desire. It has a sand pit with a water pump/waterfall that runs during the summer. It has a number of different types of swings including one of the newer types with the full seat and chest restraint. It has a multi seat swing on the other side of the playground. It has a tandem wide-slide. It also has a gentle xylophone with a couple handles so two kids can play at the same time. It has take grass on the hill in the middle which makes a great surface for cardboard sliding. Lastly the are a couple of rock/wall climbing structures. My only complaint is that the trees are small and there isn't a ton of shade...
Read moreFantastic fully accessible playground for everyone. A great place for all ages to sit, picnic, play, walk, and enjoy the outdoors. There is a huge green space for football and adjacent dog park for the four footed friends to let loose.
Having really little kids, I appreciate that dog owners usually limit their dogs to being unleashed in the dog run area.
Bonus: it's one of the very, very few pesticides free parks in PDX so I don't worry about kiddos playing...
