Lots of small businesses getting hit by these horrible people. I will mention that the dog smell (maybe only when the dogs are present) is an issue. It's definitely not the urine smell at the door. It's the smell of dirty dog and it's intense when the animals are present. This shop a total gem and I have found MANY treasures over the years. Lots of jewelry (plenty of sterling at reeeeally good prices), a gigantic ornate mirror, the most special book of matches I could ever hope to own, ornaments for the holidays, toys, odds, ends....there's always something amazing. Working on Denver makes me a little bit partial, but it has also given me a front row seat to witness all the heartfelt GOOD its owner does for our neighborhood and the community at large. I received the most incredible and special birthday gifts thanks to this shop and the lovely owner. Since I live in the neighborhood, I often visit Kenton Antiques to see if I can find a few new treasures. I’ve asked Maureen in the past about a few specific items.
