The South Park Blocks are a such a diverse green belt. Situated right in the middle of Downtown SW Portland they are used regularly by College Students, Professionals, Concert Goers, the city's homeless and countless other visitors. During the Summer months one will find an amazing Farmer's Market and on evenings and weekends the concert and museum crowds are fun to walk amongst. It is unique space that is a total of .6 miles long. When I am downtown and hoping to work of dinner/lunch/drinks I walk it in both directions for a brisk 1+ mile walk. Read moreI live in the neighborhood. 5 stars because the bartenders are amazingly friendly, responsive, and caring. Minus two star because when someone who goes there almost daily has a request (ie: dog on patio is screaming) gets told “so sorry.” I can hear that dog from my house two blocks away. And that dog is there daily so rain/shine headache/workday, I deal with a screeching dog from the patio of a bar more than a block away. And I work from home so I hear it for hours. Every day.

Almost always littered thanks to the homeless not putting trash back in the trash cans after going through them.
