Read moreI would give ZERO stars if I was basing my review on service alone. I watched a hit-and-run involving one of the guests and a 1970s silver Chevy Nova in the parking lot in front of the drop off area and walked in to report the incident and the front desk host by the name of supposedly Rain McWilliams literally said it's not their problem and to not cause a scene by discussing the incident by the front desk because other guests were present. I have to say the other handful of guests that were standing around were pretty appalled with her service and the way that she handled the situation as well. I'm not saying the hotel or the front desk person is to blame but I do feel that they should try to be involved to remedy the situation instead I've just allowing a hit-and-run to occur on their property with witnesses but no recourse. Not only did they not investigate the incident or call the police, or even leave a note on the vehicle which I told them would probably be the least considerate thing they could do, she also let the individual who caused the hit-and-run to walk off as if nothing happened! I told them I had both photos and videos of the incident and that there were two other witnesses and she said she didn't care and if I thought it was something that needed to be addressed I should call the police myself. I called end filed a police report because I felt it was the right thing to do and I'd be pretty upset to see my vehicle damaged while staying a night at a hotel. The next day when checking out there were two different hosts and I explained the situation that occurred the night before and they took an incident report and gave me a card to speak with the general manager Daryn Cyrus. A few hours after checking out they billed me for 3 days of guest amenity fees at $30 per day even though they had already waived it along with my parking (additional $40/night) because the third party seller for the hotel said that their charge included ALL fees and taxes and they said this was a common issue that occurred regularly. When I called back to address the issue with the incorrect billing, what sounded to be the same unprofessional front desk host from the night before took down my name and room number and then said they would not be refunding any fees because of my "bad attitude" and then hung up on me mid-sentence. I called back and asked for a manager whom I was told was named Tristan but they said that they were not available even though I said that the other front desk individual had literally just hung up on me. Talk about the most complete lack of respect and utter lack of professionalism!!!!
I hope to hear from one if not both managers because this is an alarming concern and if those are the type of people you have running your front desk I feel there will be a lot more negative reviews based on their lack of service and professionalism
I feel bad for the Chevy Nova involved in the hit-and-run and hopefully they call the hotel or file a police report to get the additional info that I already provided since I had photos of the incident along with plates of the individual who...
Read moreI had made a reservation, with the addition of early check-in and paid an additional fee for early check-in, due the arrival of our flight. When I arrived at the hotel, there was a very rude young woman at the desk. I said I had a reservation and gave her my name, she very rudely told me that check-in was not until 4:00pm. I informed her that I had requested and paid a fee for early check-in. She very rudely replied " that doesn't mean that you can check-in early". She then looked on her computer and said she did have a room that we could have. There was NO MENTION OF NOT HAVING HOUSEKEEPING, AT THE TIME OF CHECK-IN. We went to our room and about 5:30pm went to the restaurant to get some food. We sat ourselves, and one of the young men from the bar brought us water and menus. The 3 of us, were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered our food, and we waited at least an hour for our food. All three of us had simple pasta dishes, so nothing time consuming. The 3 men at the bar stood around visiting and never once checked on our food. At one point, I saw our food sitting up on a counter in the open kitchen and still no one brought it to us. By the time it was finally delivered to our table, it was luke warm. The pasta in all 3 dishes was clearly old and reheated. There was absolutely no flavor, no seasonings etc. The food was not god at all. And the bill for the 3 of us was $97.00, so not cheap either. The next morning, we left the room, but first turned on a little button on the wall that said "housekeeping". We assumed this also lit up outside the room where there was a light button, to say you wanted your room cleaned. Again, no one mentioned that we would not, or could not get our room cleaned. There was a card on the wall in the elevator that stated, if you chose to not have your room cleaned, it would help the environment. However, all hotels say this and you can still get your room clean, if you want. So when we returned to our room later in the afternoon and it had not been cleaned, I went down to the desk to ask about cleaning. I was informed that you cannot have your room cleaned unless you stay more than 3 days. I was informed that I should have been told upon check-in that there was no housekeeping until after 3 days. We were given additional towels, and a very nice young woman did come up and remove our garbage. Had I known before making a reservation, that there would be no housekeeping for staying 2 days, I would not have stayed at this hotel. I also learned that the rude woman who checked us in, is part of the management staff. And I again had this rude woman upon checkout. I asked for a printout of my charges, and it was quite a big inconvenience for her and again she was very rude. I would not stay at this hotel again, nor eat at the restaurant, and I would not recommend...
