Waterfront — Attraction in Portland

Beware of off leash dogs!

We love this park. We live nearby and go daily, sometimes twice.

Unfortunately there are two people with off leash dogs, both poodle mixes, making things difficult for everyone else. Both owners are short women in their 40's, always on cell phones, letting their dogs roam 30-50 feet away. I don't think they know each other but they cause the same issues and both their dogs are mearl-colored poodles, one has almost GSP print.

They have their dogs roaming off leash and they don't pay attention- they have approached other dogs, kids, strollers with babies, people with food. One almost started a fight with my dog and 2 others today. All of our dogs were on leash and under control except that poodle/doodle. The owner was also trying to start conversations with everyone trying to avoid her.

I wish the rangers or animal control would take this seriously, I don't want my on-leash dog in trouble because of...

As a Portland native, I am a huge fan of our local waterfront. Even with the increase in homelessness, it is still as beautiful as ever, especially during cherry blossom season. The waterfront provides a great view of some of the bridges, and from the right angle, you can see the timeless...

The river view is beautiful and the area is quiet and safe for pedestrian. You can take photo is name bridges. Huge lawn field with many birds resting on it.

There are hotels across the street and name artist shops by the river. Water fountain...
