La Gondola Providence, Inc. — Attraction in Providence

Truly the best part of our trip to RI. We decided on a last minute trip to providence due to school April vacay for the kiddos AND my littlest ones birthday was the next day. I scrambled to find activities for us to do as a family and saw this an option. Some reviews on another platform actually made me hesitate but once I spoke to Marcello. I was sold. He did not try to market the experience to me. He candidly explained how things worked, informed me of the costs (was super grateful to learn my two youngest ones were free riders), talked to me about timing and completely left the decision up to me. I told him my concerns were the weather because the forecast predicted rain. Marcello told me he understood and was flexible with me about the commitment. Of course as we arrived and went back to our car to rush to catch the gondola ride, it starts raining. Not only was Marcello responsive, he was still responsive and willing to work with whatever we decided (even if it meant moving to the next day). Gustavo, our perfect and hardworking Gondolier met us by the van and let us know how he could accommodate us. He was prepared with umbrellas and blankets to help ease the chill and wetness. Between Gustavo and Marcello, we decided to go for it and it was such a delightful experience. Gustavo was such a relaxing presence, very kind and really worked against all the elements (rain, strong winds). He sang wonderfully, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable. Fortunately, the rain did let up so we were able to enjoy majority of the ride without needing the umbrellas. I highly recommend this experience. It is perfect for families with littles, couples, friends...all of us truly enjoyed the relaxing, scenic ride with a kind soul.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a beautiful gondola ride around the waterways of Providence, RI, with La Gondola, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a delightful bag of Italian pastries. Our private boat, expertly guided by a skilled gondola rower, made for an amazing experience. Adding to the magic, we had a talented musician playing the mandolin, whose melodies perfectly complemented the tranquil atmosphere.

The gondola rower was incredibly knowledgeable, providing us with an informative tour around Providence. He even serenaded us with a few Italian songs,.

One of the highlights of our experience was the exceptional customer service. I had forgotten about a gift certificate I wanted to use, and the owner went above and beyond to apply it after the fact, making the entire process hassle-free and pleasant.

Overall, our gondola ride with La Gondola was an absolute pleasure. The combination of picturesque scenery, excellent service, and charming entertainment made it a truly memorable evening. I highly recommend La Gondola to anyone looking for a unique and delightful experience...

It was unforgetable experience!!! I still cant hold my tears when I think about it. My dream was to get married on gondola in Venice. Due to coronovirus we had to cancel our trip to Italy. I had no idea that my finacee at that time ( and now my husband), found Marcello. First of all, the gondola is original one from Venice, its huge, beautiful and has a lot of space inside! Also they provided us with 2 photographers who were with us all ride. After we had a beautiful ceremony, and we felt that it was created just for us, using facts from our lives, how we met etc. After the wonderful ceremony we enjoyed the ride alone. The gondolier song for us an Italian song about love. I felt that I was in Italy and got married on gondola the way I dreamed!!!!
