My experience today was horrible. I couldn't find a basket when first arriving, walked from Guest Service doors all the way to self check out to find a basket and they just opened. I was shopping for birthday gifts and found little items with ease. I then wanted a game out of the case and needed a key. When I asked an employee nearby he told me another man was already waiting by electronics for the same thing and someone would be there shortly. It took forever before an employee showed up, she then had to assist him first which involved digging in the back stock room for headphones. The employee who I originally asked for help was still in the area why she couldn't just hand him the key makes no sense. So I ended up waiting there like an extra 10 minuteson top of already waiting. I remembered I needed sugar of all things while waiting and didnt want to walk away assuming the employee would never come back if I left. So when she came back and opened the case I told her I needed to get sugar, could she put it in a case or stand at the electronics register while I grab the sugar first. She started walking away right away saying she would take it up front, I asked where and she said "a register" while still walking.. I said "where cause I don't want to walk all over the store, I'll just go to guest service then". She continued to walk off and when I got to guest service Lindsey had no idea what I was talking about. I want to make sure I add her name in the survey since she was the one with the most attitude. I told her that I waited at electronics forever and the girl told me she would bring a game up here so I'm here to pay for it. Lindsey was upset she had to walk to register 14 to retrieve the game when I told the younger girl I was going to guest service either way. Lindsey then tried to lecture me about how guest service isn't for a purchase it's for returns. I told her this trip should have taken no longer than 20 minutes and I've been in the store for 45 minutes now, if you hadn't inconvenience me then I wouldn't be at guest service now inconvenience you. Which she didn't like that comment but I don't need to be lecture while trying to pay for a game and toys worth $110 that I waited literally 20+ minutes for attitude for. If this is your system and your policy then make it easier for the guest. Make sure you have employees working in those areas, cross train or send managers to actually assist guests in a timely...
Read moreWent to find a college graduation outfit with my younger sibling and the employee Michelle handling the fitting room made it a terrible experience. I’ve gone to this target for years and I had never encountered an before today. I took 6 items into the dressing room (max amount) and my younger sibling accompanied me as she is a minor and should not be left alone. Michelle then decided to make a scene and loudly states “no more than 2 people in the dressing room”. Which was odd because we have always had 2 people in a dressing room ESPECIALLY because she is a minor. Yet the woman Michelle somehow did not care that 3 dressing rooms down, 2 white girls were in a dressing room together. Once I informed her my sibling is a minor, she proceeded to find something else to complain to about. She insisted that we had more than 6 items when in fact, we did not. We had switched out our clothing items while she was NOT supervising the fitting rooms and switched it out with 4 other items. Once she realized the switched out clothes were hung up behind her, she remained quiet and offered no apology. There was absolutely no need to cause a scene and scold us as if she was our parent. I spoke to her supervisor Linda, she offered no help as well. She just stated “I will speak to her, sorry for your experience. Do...
Read moreCustomer Service at this store is getting worse. Moving everything doesn't help the experience. It is rare to see an associate on the floor. Today, I was searching for shampoo. I walked every aisle near the pharmacy from the front of the store to the pet section and only found a small section of "for men" shampoos. I couldn't find an associate to ask, but spotted the "red phone". I decided not to use option 1 (have an associate come to the section where the phone is) and chose option 2 (speak to an associate). The woman who (eventually) answered the phone told me that the shampoo was in cosmetics, near the pharmacy, by the razors. I told her that I had walked that section several times and couldn't find it. I asked if she could tell me an aisle number. "No", she said, "my advice is to just keep looking." I thanked her for being SO helpful and asked her name. She hung up on me. I finally found the shampoo section...NOWHERE NEAR THE PHARMACY...in fact on the opposite side near women's clothing. Thanks for nothing. I strive to buy locally and have been loyal to this store, but this experience has made me question that. Time to find a new store. And, I can always buy shampoo online without...
