I purchased three cases of alkaline water and a Pure Essential Stress oil. After I paid I noticed that I was charged $4.99 as opposed to the $2.99 mark down price for the oil. I told the cashier that I would take a picture to show him. As I walked back to take the picture I stopped an employee and I showed her that I was over charged. Denise told me that a customer must have moved the items and that she could not make the adjustment. I asked for a manager and she stated that she was the assistant manager. I continued to point out that the $2.99 sign was directly in front of an entire case of the Huntington Essential Oil and she continued to tell me that I had a spray bottle so it would be the $4.99. Denise and I went back and forth as I tried to convince her that she needed to honor the Stress Oil at the $2.99 price and that it was not a spray. I asked her to show me which products were considered a “spray” and she stated that she didn’t know. I asked her to show me which items were marked down to $2.99 and she couldn’t tell me yet she continued to say that it was a spray however it’s not. I told Denise that since she wouldn’t honor the $2.99 mark down price I would contact the corporate office and she told me to do what I needed to do. I told her that I wanted a refund so she said that I would have to wait in a long line. I walked back to the front of the line and I told the cashier that I wanted a full return at which time Denise said that she would give me the oil at the $2.99 price. I should not have been subjected to this type of treatment when the sign clearly has $2.99 in front of the Stress Oil that I purchased. I left that store more stressed than when I arrive. I have a picture that I will provide at your request. This incident makes me not want to shop at this ALDIs again.
I couldn’t wait to get home to contact ALDIs corporate office who stated that they would investigate...
Read moreI love love love this aldi....usually, until today when I was looked at sideways because I return items often and I had multiple receipts. I have a woman who Isnt readily nor easily mobile and requests the items from all the new aldi finds almost weekly, as if Wednesdays when they come out are like the best day of her week, but sometimes, most of the time, she changes her mind about the items once they're in front of her and asks me to return them. At first I would return these items without a receipt because aldi would recognize their item and take it which I absolutely appreciated and made me love them just a wee bit more. So now this time, when I come back with a few weeks worth of returns (which mind you is about 10 items give or take 1 over 5 receipts) and got asked like why do I return all these special buys all the time and this Is alot of receipts, okay so maybe you're uncomfortable with returns and this is overwhelming atm, cool I'm sorry, I wont wait to return them next time. Then the cashier basically hints at me trying to pull something by saying i see alot of gift cards on here which means you're using store credit like whatre you doing....um I just told you she does this all the time like every week, of course theres store credit but get this, most of them are actual gift cards because people in her life know that aldi finds is like her favorite thing. AND THEN SHE HAS THE AUDACITY to imply that the table in my cart which wasnt on any of the receipts I had brought in (so I would be taking it back out with me) wasnt already in there as if I were trying to steal it. Mind you, I walked in though the exit with my cart from the car and made a point that an employee saw me walk in with all of it and left it up front until my checkout. Theres plenty of aldi's, try one that isn't so quick to judge. Amazing how one bad apple can spoil the...
Read moreThe lady who’s always at the register is definitely racist. She is short and has grey hair. I been shopping at this aldi since I was a teen. Today I decided to grab an Aldi tote to put my stuff in while shopping. I didn’t have a quarter for a basket so I figured it would be easier anyway. However, after being done shopping I went to the self checkout. This lady was eye hawking me from the moment I walked up to the self checkout. I ignored it but I could see she was sitting at the register across from me. As I’m scanning my stuff I could sense her judging me for whatever reason she was perceiving me. I ignored it again, because I was scanning my items just like everyone else. That wasn’t the problem. The issue was when she took it upon herself to ask me across from where she was at. In front of everyone if I SCANNED MY BAG. I was obviously NOT done scanning my stuff when she stopped her register and walked up to me just to ask me if I scanned my bag!!? Are you kidding me. I politely told her Ma’am I am Not done scanning my stuff and she walked away giving me a nasty face. Like if she was expecting me to steal a dam bag! I felt like I was racially profiled. She did not ask anyone else but ME. I felt really uncomfortable. This Disgusting behavior and attitude from this lady was really uncalled for. I hope upper management reads...
