The store is overpriced, and most of the merch feels outdated. But I'm glad a physical media store still exists. The customer service has always been great, and all of the employees seem like cool people. Except for the manager, who constantly complains and yells at his hard working employees. The man-child manager had an aggressive outburst towards my 2 year old nephew. He was playing with the toys and knocking stuff over, and the manager decided to yell at him and shoot a passive aggressive remark towards his tired mother. He wasn't even able to look her in the eye when he did it. This manager clearly wasn't used to looking women in their eye, so he just whimpered into his hand like a fifth-grader. Every one of the employees was uncomfortable but didn't say anything, they seemed to be walking on eggshells around him. Someone should tell the manager that the customer experience matters more than your passive aggressive feud with a literal toddler. If you can't handle the minor stress of a baby being in your store, you probably can't handle the stress of managing a store. Somebody should relieve him of that...
Read moreI really don't like leaving these kind of reviews, but I feel like if this happened to me, it's happening to other customers and need to put it out in the open.
I was here a month ago making a purchase when the young man working the register asked me if I would like to join the new rewards program they just started. They said multiple times that it was "free" and that I wouldn't be charged for it. I told him sure, as long as I'm not being charged for it. Well, here we are a month later and I have been billed for this membership, so not only did they lie right to my face, but they also used my credit card information to sign me up while saying "Yeah man, its totally free, trust me!". If this happened to me, I'm sure this is happening to other customers too. I used to come here fairly often, but I will be taking my business elsewhere, most of the items they sell are cheaper on...
Read moreThis is a cool, fun entertainment store. They have neat products such as movies, clothes, posters, trinkets, record players, and a pretty decent selection of music from what little I've browsed. I gave it only four stars, not due to a lack of goodness there, but because some of the stuff seems a bit pricy but they have a decent variety of things as far as memorabilia goes. And even though I do like to find shops with old records in good quality, I'm no expert when it comes to comic book-style memorabilia and vinyl records. What I mean is that, in my personal opinion, it has a touristy shop kind of feel to it more than an entertainment store vibe, and I don't necessarily mean that in a negative way. All that being said, this is a fun, neat little store with a good atmosphere and the customer service has always been great. Sadly, I have no pictures because I haven't visited...
