Splash Pad at Pioneer Park — Attraction in Provo

My family visited from out of town and had a bunch of little kids. I wanted to take them where they can play and run in the water. So I thought I’d try the splash pad and Pioneer Park. My kids are older so we’ve never been here and I was hoping it would be a good choice. The kids loved it and the Adults loved it. It was a fun family outing and the kids had a blast!!! I highly recommend it for the little ones. It also allowed us adults a chance to talk and enjoy the time together as a family. Just keep it mind it turns off often. My 2 year old liked it as much as my 6 year old. It is slick so be careful! I dont love the 15 minutes off every hour especially when you show up right when that happens & it is so hot in the late afternoon! But at the same time, I kind of get why they have that....kind of. 10 minutes would be nicer. 5 minutes would be really nice. I dont think anyone needs 15 minutes of it off. It is simple but cute. This is such a fun little splash pad! It sits right in the center of a large park with a cool playground, nearby restrooms and tons of shade trees. A great way to escape the summer heat without much effort (because that’s what all moms really want, am I right?!) my only complaint is the amount of homeless people lingering around the splash pad watching the kids play. They don’t hesitate to smoke right next to you and leave a lot of garbage. So that sucks. But I guess they want a cool summer...
