If you’re hunting for a quality burger, look no further than JJ Burger. Seriously, stop looking. Just go there. I’ve been to JJ Burger a few times, and it’s always solid. Like, I’m talking dependable, never-let-you-down solid. You know how some places are hit or miss? Not JJ Burger. It’s a consistent home run every time.
Now, let’s get to the food. Their bacon cheeseburger? Best one I’ve had. And I don’t say that lightly. It’s like they’ve taken all the best parts of a bacon cheeseburger and somehow made them better. The bacon is crispy, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the burger itself is juicy and flavorful. It’s like biting into a little piece of burger heaven.
Their crispy chicken is another winner. I’m talking crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. It’s the kind of chicken that makes you wonder why you ever bothered eating chicken anywhere else. And then there’s the sea burger. It’s awesome. I don’t know what they do to make it so good, but whatever it is, it works.
Now, let’s talk mozzarella sticks. I’m a mozzarella stick snob. I’ve had my fair share of mediocre mozzarella sticks, and let me tell you, JJ Burger’s mozzarella sticks are the best. They’re crispy, cheesy, and just downright delicious. It’s like they’ve taken the concept of mozzarella sticks and elevated it to an art form.
And the service? Great. The folks at JJ Burger are friendly, attentive, and genuinely seem to care about making sure you have a good experience. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door.
So, if you’re looking for a place with great food and great service, do yourself a favor and head to JJ Burger in Orem. You...
Read moreI was at the Utah Valley Convention Center down town. I had looked at all the options in the neighborhood and decided to try JJ’s Burgers. I walked over and was hopeful with the reviews at 4.4 Stars on Google. I was there on a Tuesday at lunch time and the place was pretty empty. Not a real good sign. It looks like a ma and pop type of place with a menu of burgers, basic sandwiches, seafood and Teriyaki Bowls. I found the selection interesting.
I ordered the basic cheese burger and onion rings. I read the description as having a small beef patty, and they were not kidding. It was not much of a burger. It was only one step above a McDonald’s burger because they added a piece of lettuce. As far as the onion rings they were okay, heavily coated, crunchy and not bad. Definitely were from frozen package. For the price, I had better hopes. I felt JJ’s were not even trying to wow me as a customer. With so many other options around, I will probably will...
Read moreI would have given it 3 stars for the food alone but the value bumps it to 4. I got a cheeseburger and corn dog — corn dog was a last minute sub for fries, don’t ask me why. Total bill was around 5.30 which is pretty amazing. Everything on the menu is pretty cheap. The burger was decent, not great, seemed like a frozen patty with a less than ideal slice of lettuce, decent tomato but it had grilled onions which elevated it a touch. Bun was fine. I think it was 2.99 or something. The corn dog was freshly deep fried which was a surprise. I thought it would be microwaved. It was nicely crunchy but the dog itself was pretty gross. Like a school lunch kind of hot dog. All together though it wasn’t bad for two buck. Came with fry sauce which was okay. Overall, don’t be expecting too much with the quality of the food but for the price, it’s warrants a 4. There’s something about being able to get a meal that fills you up for five bucks that...
