We made the mistake of renting a golf cart from this group.

The back was hit, seat torn and lic plate twisted ... It rattled so loud you couldn't talk to one another

The steering was loose and the cart jerked continuously making the seat belts dig into your sides and drinks spill all over from the drink holder.

The back tires were bald so it performed poorly in sand

We got out navigation and on the smooth 997 road the max speed was 15.4 miles an hour in a 25 mile zone .. travelers were back up behind us until we could safely pull off to the side for the 30 miles we traveled ...

This was probably the worst customer service we have ever had for approx 115.00 with tax and $3.00 gas refill which took an 1 1/2 hours traveling max speed 15, but usually well below 10mph due to the suspension being loose and the cart jerking so hard. We stopped by a few hours after renting it the young man. Working said what can I say it's a golf cart.

Upon return we said this golf cart was in really rough shape he proceeded to gun the cart at full 15 mph hour/ spin it sharply in a firmly packed sand parking lot.... We said no drive it the way we did and the cart started bucking on a flat smooth surface.

His response the golf carts are old 6430 miles logged, and we want more Polaris - I said then you shouldn't be renting them for 100+ dollars.

I own four golf carts - bought them for my kids to ride on travels and theu fields on our 100 ac Farm & never have I ever experienced such a ride

Phones falling, drinks in drink holders spilling all over. Low treads, visible damage to cart squealing brakes & poor customer service .

I wrote in the morning and asked about rent a car I was told to go to a website.... Tons to fill out a video declaration for liability, $500.00 deposit.

I would suggest renting a cart else where if at all possible - we saw beautiful golf carts all over the island - near the ferry dock and several other spots on the island and had a huge regret renting from Fun Brothers.

Anyone who reads my numerous review from all over the world knows it's almost impossible to score a 1 star ⭐ but if there has been a option for zero or even a 1/2 star ⭐ I would have placed this experience there.

Do your homework - don't rent something they say is just old used and abused because...

So we rented their golf cart in March 2022. They have two kinds of golf carts, one with the off roading tires and the others for regular small golf cart tires which i believe are mainly made for golf courses and riding on smooth roads. They gave us the the second one though we requested the person to give us the one with off roading tires as it was sitting right there. Note: 60% of the tourist spots in the island are not on well made roads. Anyway, we took the one they offered as they weren't giving us the other one. So we used the cart and drove around the island and we wanted to return it at 9am as we had a 10am ferry the next day. In the morning we find out the back tire was flat to the point that we couldn't ride it. We called them asap and they sent someone to fix the flat and retrieve the cart. Note: we were 10 mins away from their office. they also gave us a rope/cable lock to tie the cart when you leave it unattended which we dint use until the night before going to bed. there when we put the keys into the cable lock and moved it, it chipped and broke. we were able to remove the chip and not use the lock coz we didn't want to have the cart not move so we could return it. I gave them the keys and explained the situation.

Anyway, a couple days later we notice a $125 extra charge on our card. $50 for the person to come fix the flat, $50 for the flat tire and $25 for the broken key. Honestly, if they had charged me $50 or so I wouldn't have even wrote this, but the fact that they want to pin their aging equipment cost onto a customer who comes to the island for a day made me write this review. I would have expected some courtesy and better customer service. Overall the rental cost us around $250 for a day, which would have been higher than the cost to get a High End Jeep which you can take to more places than a cart.

Future customers, please evaluate your options better before renting from...

Absolute worst experience ever. We rented a golf cart to explore the island and returned the cart within 5 hours even though we had a 24 hour reservation for it. We have not received a refund for the $500 deposit and we have been unable to get in contact with them as they do not answer any of their numbers or emails. This has been an ongoing dispute now with my bank that has gone on for 10 months now. DO NOT rent with them if you don’t want your money to be stolen. Super shady unprofessionally run.

And no this has not been the first time I have tried to reach out. I reached out in February, March, and April - calling and emailing and even trying to find their Facebook page to message them. All of which were dead ends.

When I finally got ahold of somebody 10 months later, they were very dismissive on the phone and not even a little apologetic to what they had let happen, saying it was impossible. Well bank records don’t lie. I’m still waiting on them to figure this out as they didn’t seem to bother giving me the time of day despite taking $500 USD from me for this long. I expect that to be paid back plus interest but I doubt that kind of service will be received, seeing the way this company is run.

AN UPDATE: they have not looked into things at all. When I call them their number is blocked now and automatically hangs up. No one has been in touch with me regarding this deposit that has not been refunded. Absolute scam of a business. I have reported to the FTC for...
