WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Placed an order online via website at 6:12pm and used coupon code for free delivery. Order accepted coupon code, but confirmation noted pick-up. Called store and employee was able to override from pick-up to delivery and could not provide an ETA for delivery. Called at 6:40pm for an update. Employee advised they don't have contact with the driver and can't provide a specific ETA. Called again at 7:04pm and employee said order was picked up 20 minutes ago for delivery. Called again at 7:31pm and employee said order was never picked up for delivery despite my past calls with the store to confirm delivery, etc. Inquired if they can remake the order for pick-up since delivery was clearly not an option and if they would refund the order due to store's error. Employee NEVER APOLOGIZED for the error, but did confirm a refund and re-make of order to be ready in 20 minutes, at 7:51pm. Arrived at store to pick-up order at 7:48pm at which time the employee advised the order would be ready in 10 minutes and I asked for a copy of the refund receipt. Employee (male) offered a drink while I waited for the order to which I declined. Assistant Manager provided no greeting to me whatsoever and after looking into a receipt at register, advised she could not provide a refund receipt as the order was voided. Requested paper note, screen shot or something to confirm I would be refunded. Assistant Manager wrote her name, the date and time on a blank receipt and handed it to me to which I asked her to add the total amount that would be refunded which she did not have - so I provided to her. Another employee (female) set food items on the counter and at no time did any employee verbalize that those items were my order. Female employee turned her back to me to which I said "excuse me, are these the items for my order?" She said yes and I asked if anyone was going to tell me that. Left store with order in hand at 8:04pm. AT NO POINT DURING THIS INTERACTION DID ANY EMPLOYEE APOLOGIZE TO ME, provide any verbal communication around updates to my order or offer to make this right to ensure my future patronage. I am very disappointed at the lack of professionalism of the staff at this location and would NEVER recommended anyone choose to order take-out or dine-in here. I was impressed by what the food looked like, But NOT what it tasted like. We decided to try it and we did , will not be going back. Large piece of Lasagna, with hardly any meat in it. Tortellini, was fine but the sauce with peas and prosciutto was chalky and warm , and very little flavor, I had to reheat when I got home The bread, had so much salt on the top we could not eat it. and was hard and tough. Like it had been cut a long time ago and set out. Over priced for a fast food Italian place. Also there was a girl with long brown hair doing something with it looked like zucchini noodles I think , she was a few feet from the trash and she should of been in the kitchen doing this and had hair tied back or up, or even better in a net. I noticed the guy in kitchen had a scarf on his head. That was a very off putting, and glad I did not order those. I did not see any one managing the staff looked like mostly kids and instead of doing things like asking guests if they needed anything else, picking up plates, or sweeping, or asking guests if they would like another drink or something., they were just standing around talking. There was a man picking up pizza, but he had to wait for a pint a gelato, when it should of been ready and waiting for him in a bag to pick up, it also should of been written on the ticket so he did not forget, luckily he remembered and had to ask the staff for it. Then the girl started to get it for him, and then she passed it on to another guy who could scoop easier. So while they were doing this he was standing there with his pizza, while it was getting colder...

This place has potential. Best things first: Gelato (very good) and their red tomato sauce. Things that could use improvement: leave pizza & calzones a little longer in oven. I got the Giardino pizza with veggies. Veggies weren't seasoned but the red sauce made up for it. Felt the veggies could've been baked just a few extra minutes. The calzone of my husband was good but the dough was not crunchy and rather soft. My friend's other calzone was cold inside. I think a few extra min in oven would do the trick (maybe ask for that when you come here or hopefully owner might see this and try it out). Another improvement suggestion: pasta dish. My friend got the Creamy Pesto bowtie pasta. It was ok but lacked a little flavor, could use a little more salt. Looks like they mixed Alfredo with Pesto and the pesto flavor got lost. Presentation also could've been nicer with just a few touches, eg add basil leaf and a cherry tomato or something like that. Menu is not overwhelming which is great. They but their Gelato from a guy and it's definitely good and tastes authentic (I recommend Italian chocolate chip).
