Twin Dragon Games — Local services in Racine

I personally wanted to thank both Dan and Christine from the bottom of my heart for being such an amazing lcs. I've known them both for about a year now and wanted to share my experiences with TwinDragon and the owners.

My background is in Onepiece tcg, and a little history of mine is I started playing my first tcg (Yugioh) casually since 2007 from high school and stopped around 2010. After that period, I told myself I would never do tcg again. During that time, I was just a poor kid and didn't have the luxury or the time to go in competitively, and that was always one of my childhood dreams. However, when bandai announced that they were making a cardgame about Onepiece around 15 years later, that inner child of mine decided to risk it one more time and give it a chance.

Fast forward, Twindragon games have been one of the few lcs since the beginning of Bandais new card game to give us onepiece players, the outlet, and the opportunity to dive into the game, one of my personal favorites. One thing that stood out to me as a player coming back into the scene was the way they carried themselves as a store and being genuinely good people. Though they weren't the biggest gaming store, what I've found is they had one of the biggest hearts. Never have I've seen them scalped or drive up the prices of their products during such a hot demand with very few products out in the market, making it affordable for the community, unlike a lot of others i've experience. They have always been honest and transparent with the players and gave me a sense of trust and a good atmosphere to be in while i'm playing. One other thing that I've noticed also is their heart for the children or anyone of all ages, willing to teach them and help them engage in a world that they could immerse and enjoy themselves In, having a time to not worry about the stresses of the world (me being one of them lol). They have always done events to help grow the community and treated everyone with care and respect. Overall, I am very grateful to have found Twingdragon games and met Dan and Christine. They've made my experience coming back into tcg very memorable and worth it. I highly recommend this store and hope this review and store can help others like it did for me. This is the nicest and most friendly card/game shop I've ever been to. They're super welcoming and personable to every single person that walks through their doors. They will help and teach you anything, even going as far as having lessons to learn games or even just helping you think of deck ideas for tcgs. You can tell that they truly care about everyone and they always do their best at selling everything at the most reasonable prices. They will not upcharge. They limit the amount of Pokemon boosters and boxes you can buy so they can provide others with a chance at getting some. They have weekly tournaments for MTG, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and even Digimon! I'm so happy I heard about this place and finally went, I ended up going 3 times within the first week of going just because of house much I enjoyed being there. They host Pre-Release events for tcgs, they do events to help the community, they have several spaces setup for people to just come and play games and meet new friends, and they even have a ladies night coming up! Truly the best game...

Been here a few times now and each experience has been great. I get this nostalgic feeling entering the basement, walking down the hall past several cardboard stand-ups of card games. Twin Dragon Games is very welcoming and an all around good time.

Twin Dragons got me back into trading card games! They have a large selection of Pokémon, Yugioh, Magic, and other Bandai card games. And even though I haven't browsed them, they have a wall of board games to buy and play.

I've been going to Twin Dragon Games for the One Piece tcg tournaments for a few weeks now. Even though I'm not winning, it's been super fun learning the game and meeting new people.
