Seven Keys to Escape | Escape Room — Attraction in Racine

This experience was so fun!! I’ve done 4 escape rooms now and 2 of them have been at seven keys and this is my favorite place by far. The rooms are difficult and tricky but honestly I wouldn’t want them to be easy! Their escape rate is somewhere around 30% which I think is perfect. The lady working is also super nice and threw clues/hints over the wall at the perfect times. There were 6 of us, all early 20s and we managed to escape with 12 seconds to spare. (This was my first time escaping). We started off slow, but we managed to figure things out and each clue led to more steps and codes. By the end we were screaming out codes just trying to finish as fast as we could with 2 minutes left! Recommend for everyone. I’ll be back when their next room is released 😁😁😁😁 Seriously so much fun!

I’ve been to over 20 escape rooms around the world and this is the absolute best one I’ve ever seen. I drove an hour to get there and it was worth several more hours. The attention to detail was exquisite. The props were high quality and didn’t look like stuff from a rummage sale (like some escape rooms tend to). The puzzle mechanisms were sophisiticed in design and awe inspiring. The story was unique, interesting, and engaging. I’m tired of typical “Heist” and “Jailbreak” themed escape rooms that become redundant after a while so I enjoyed their unique theme: Also the owner is super friendly and a big escape room enthusiast herself. She put a LOT of thought into the room and you can tell it is meticulously planned. I strongly recommend locally owned escape rooms over national chains. I tried a higher difficulty room here recently and was a little disappointed by how many hints my team had to receive to keep moving. Some of the solutions were counterintuitive enough to me that there’s no way I could have discovered them independently in the one hour allotted to escape. I really enjoyed the experience and would gladly go back to try a different room; maybe the experience is more fulfilling in an easier room or with a bigger group? But I kind of wished the puzzle was set up in a way where it was easier to solve independently, or even if you had a little extra time for problem solving (1.5-2 hour sessions might...
