Fabric Warehouse — Attraction in Rahway

Lots of great stuff. Fabric as far as the eye can see. Staff is not necessarily unfriendly, but they could use a bit of personality.

It's not necessarily messy, but it is a bit disorganized for my taste: basically you have to look on all the racks before you can find something you're looking for it, because they are not broken down by type of fabric nor color nor any other discernible pattern. It seems like they just put things wherever they have space on the racks when a new shipment comes in.

Still, if you have the time and inclination, you will definitely find something that you're looking for here.

I also have an area off to the side for odds and ends, I once found a really good pair of wool socks, a nice cheap t-shirt for the gym and a set of black out curtains. But again, they are just odds and ends. It's not like they have the same stuff consistently stocked. I've been back several times looking for more of those wool socks, but they have never had them again. It seems like I just buy random things very cheaply and put them on...

The store has a huge selecrion with every type of fabric, and it is nicely organized. Lots if the fabric is pre-cut so you don't have to wait for someone to come and cut it for you. It also has zippers, linings, thread, ribbon flowers, curtain decore', and a whole lot more at extremely low prices. I went there got 4 yards of fabric, 1 large spool of thread, a zipper, a big bag of ribbon flowers, some lace lining, and a small bag of ribbon flowers for only 18 dollars! I’m in Virginia so this fabric store is a bit of a hike but I was staying at a place about 2hrs from Fabric Warehouse and I’ve been wanting to come here for a year. It did not disappoint. The store is well organized. There are a vast array of different types of fabric. Prices were worth the drive! It was clear if some fabric are constantly being ordered or if once the fabric sells that it for that exact pattern. I do craft shows so I like being able to resupply the same patterns if possible. Overall this is definitely a shop I will visit during my once a year up north fabric shop drive as it’s about a 6hr drive from me....
