Runnings — Attraction in Red Wing

Ok here we go so we are working in lake city Minnesota I'm from Chicago suburbs never heard of this store I went in looking for work boots found some that were ok so I got them tried them on brought them home and wanted to walk in them so I walk on my tred mill for 20 minutes and they hurt my feet so boots are a no go at this point I do 18 to 20.000 steps at work on my feet all day so my boots have to be comfortable for sure .so I bring the boots back and they said that they will not return them and they said that I bought them from another store which was a false statement and I never heard or been in this store first time in this store to try to look for boots .so boots were 180 $ they gave me back 100 $ even and then I had to get a gift certificate for in store credit and I already cant stand this store and will not tell or go to a running s ever again .store so I bought tie down straps that were over priced a neck knife that was over priced trail miss that was over priced pop that was over priced so I bought people behind me In line what ever I had left for my balance so I can be completely dun with my nightmare of a morning trying to just return boots that were not comfortable so people that are from and people that are out of town please watch out for this type of store s out there ..will not buy or go back or tell any one about this store only my bad experience I had .hope everything has a great and blessed and thankful wonderful start of...

Best option for fleet & farm plus hardware in Red Wing area. Staff is overall friendly, genuine, helpful & they have a great selection of all kinds of things from clothing, to garden & our favorite the horse section. Its easy & fun to end up with more than you need here as there is so much to see. Farm items in outside area are always locked up though even during business hours so its harder to shop, was also locked in their once accidentally. Would be nice if it was open during the day OR if it was moved to be adjacent to end of store (to right of main entrance) so that you could walk out of store through another existing door (looks like its no longer used thats in power yard & garden tools area, by Stihl display or clothing maybe) directly into farm outside lot from store while keeping it secured during business hours (much like how Tractor Supply in Rockford MN has theirs easy access but still very secure. Having to find someone to let you into this outside area, then feel a little rushed as they are waiting is why 4 vs 5 stars. Staff is friendly, its simply a hassle factor but otherwise great...

Runnings didn't have much of what I was looking for personally, but I also went into it knowing they might not. I was still impressed with the selection regardless, and it has copious varieties of what they advertise themselves for. Loads of farm, yard, and hardware supplies, and an especially thorough selection of power tools. I saw lots of Milwaukee and Dewalt, and the power tools, accessories, and containers there were on par with even large chain names like Fleet Farm, Menards, and Home Depot.
