See's Candies — Attraction in Redding

A few days ago I went to See's and there was a older gentleman that worked there, he was very funny had me busting a gut I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. He was also very sweet He handed me two samples I handed my sister one she ate it, and he said that was her 3rd piece so to be fair he handed me two more started cracking jokes, and then handed us one more piece on our way out. I can't remember his name but if you need a candy pick me up and could use a good laugh look for him the next time you go to the mall and go by See's Candy 🍬 😉 😄 look for Short, Bald, and a BIG Smile you...

Used to be they offered a sample. Not these days, not on a regular basis that is. It was to be the first thing we did with customers when I worked and managed a shop for them.

Also it seems like the chocolate has changed. Just does not taste the same. I have grown up on See's Candies, was a fave of my Nan and Mom. Even they feel it has changed and just not.the same. I actually passed going in for a few pieces last time I was at the mall. When a few pieces runs about $5, I want it to be good and worth it. Not middle of the road, wish I bought a Hersey...

Here is the thing.. I spend hundreds of dollars a year here. Not one time have I ever been disappointed. You would assume when you spend over $20 on a box of chocolates you would have some sort of buyers remorse... Still has never happened! This is high end candy. There are very few places you can find this in the US and even fewer are chain stores. This is the quality of a craft chocolate shop. I hope to see them in business for another 100 years!
