The stars given are based on food and cleanliness. The stars not given are due to the experience. We had to order online as the dining room was closed. As I waited a large group of early twenties late teen-aged kids entered. One who preceded them informed them they couldn't order inside. They laughed and simply ordered online as they stood there. They then took up the seating meant for pick ups and door dashers. I was waiting for our order which had already messaged my phone that it was ready, it wasn't. As I sat, one ridiculed me in an indirect passive aggressive way, thanking her other friend for giving up his seat for her. Meanwhile raising her voice mentioning that it was so sweet to give up his seat for a girl. They got their order and began dining and having a fun merry time right there in the pick up area, as they sat with their friend, who apparently works at Chick-fil-A and was there with them dining inside, after the manager told them the dining area was closed and they couldn't even order indoors. As I waited for my order several other door dashers and online orders entered waited, while standing, or leaning on the counter or walls, watching the loud, rude kids, including they're off duty employee at the head, as we all waited gathering more frustration, the comments kept being thrown my way, apparently they had more friends on the way, I got my order, late, left, on the way out a Fiat with two more young ladies same age group entered, with phones in their faces, and joined the rest, taking my previous seat and the final open seat across from it. As I left I marked the time and date, September 25th, 8:02PM is when I left. There is no indoor ordering, no indoor dining, and a small waiting area with seats for pick ups only. Yet an employee and her friends took all of the seats, got special treatment, were not asked to leave, ordered online while inside, and enjoyed a fine fun dining experience as everyone had to stand or lean on something waiting for their pick up orders, to grab and go, as the rules are written. This is unacceptable and I will be contacting corporate. I'm no stranger to Chicfila or the Cathy Family. My family has enjoyed their company and their food for generations now. I don't think that Redding has the caliber people to uphold the good name of Chicfila. It is not some basic fast food establishment. Some reeducation...
Read moreI’m disappointed in this. Waited patiently over 30 minutes in the drive-thru which I anticipated seeing as how it’s a brand new opening, and I know that was my choice before anyone claps back on me about that. One of the lines was moving significantly faster and of course I was stuck in the slower lane, but again, I was patient knowing it was my choice. We ordered 2 grilled chicken club sandwiches with honey roasted bbq sauce and a 12 piece grilled chicken nugget with ranch and Buffalo sauce. The initial person taking our order verified the order with me and stated “2 grilled chicken sandwiches” and I said “grilled chicken club sandwiches” and she supposedly corrected the order. Then the next person who was a trainer verified our order again, and I said “it’s supposed to be 2 grilled chicken club sandwiches, I think the other gal might have gotten it wrong” and she said “oh, yes, it was messed up, I’ll fix it for you. What cheese would you like?” making me think my order would be correct. After waiting in line for over a half hour, they gave us the bag of food which had 2 regular grilled chicken sandwiches in it. I would assume having 2 people verify our order and reiterating it that it would be right. I was too frustrated to get back in line or hold the line up even longer. I know you guys just opened but the food quality wasn’t up to par either. The lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes were mushy. I’ve eaten at Chick-fil-a before and the quality here was not up to par. Also, you guys don’t know how to count because the nuggets were off and so were the sauce packets. Seems trivial, it’s just fast food right? I’m more irritated at incompetence and lack of attention to detail in a job, as I’m not allowed to make mistakes in my...
Read moreFinal Review: 2/10 - Worst Chick-fil-A I've been to.
I'm originally from Georgia, where Chick-fil-As high standards are well known. I understand that locations are franchised, but they still represent your brand, and unfortunately, this particular location has consistently fallen short.
I have given grace multiple times, but after repeated negative experiences, I can no longer dismiss them as isolated incidents. Here are the issues Ive encountered:
Delivery Order: Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich without cheese due to a dairy allergy. It arrived with cheese melted onto the sandwich, making it inedible.
Drive-Thru: Ordered the same sandwich without cheese. Not only did it arrive with cheese, but the chicken itself was missing.
In-Store Visit: Upon entering, the restaurant had an overwhelming odor akin to "dog poop," making it impossible to stay.
Another In-Store Visit: Ordered a Key Lime Lemonade this week with no line ahead of me. After waiting 10 minutes with multiple employees walking by and ignoring me, I left without my order.
With everything my family is going through right now, dining out is a rare treat, and Chick-fil-A has always held a special place for us. However, this location fails to meet even basic fast-food standards.
I have previously submitted a complaint about the missing chicken issue but never received a response and they have made it clear through their actions (or lack thereof) that they couldn't care less.
The new location by costco might be better, time will tell, but this Chick-fil-A is officially on my "Don't go here" list and I'd advise others to...
