FoodMaxx is the Anchor Store and we shop here pretty regularly. They have one of the best selections of Hispanic staple foods. Their prices are competitive and the lines usually move quickly. The location is good - it is close to everything on Redding's NE quarter. Parking is plentiful and access is not a problem. There do tend to be a large number of vagrants behind the store and in the parking lot. They now have full time security which has really improved the situation, however I prefer my wife NOT shop there after dark. That is the primary drawback. Read moreThis place is Food Maxx. Limited selection on regular items. Does have lots of ethnic (Indian/Hispanic) foods compared to other chain grocers. This store is always gross, smells, and has beggars wandering and hanging out at the door. The parking lot spaces are too small for SUVs and trucks so everyone parks like a jerk.
